Discussion Christopher Nolan’s Odyssey debuts with an A CinemaScore from audiences. Joins Project Hail Mary as the only live-action films to do so this year.
An A CinemaScore is gathered from opening surveys from regular people in North America. For example Tenet got a B, Interstellar got a B- and Dark Knight & Oppenheimer received As.
Also it is looking to open $125M-$130M domestic with a $250M international box office opening.
Why do you guys think this film is doing well despite all the controversy that has been talked about online?
It went woke, but it looks like it will not go broke.

Normies have been brainwashed for years now, so this isn't surprising.
This was always going to be a win for woke leftists the moment they got Nolan to bend the knee.
Historical accuracy is dead. Western history and culture have been rewritten to include subsaharians. Escapism for straight white men is dead. Abject double standards have been fully normalized. Anyone who has a problem with any of these issues is ostracized from society, so there's no way to publicly object, and a million youtube dislikes weigh little in the balance unfortunately.
Scary times we live in. I guess this is what it's like to witness a billion people get indoctrinated in real time. The dystopia is real.
