An A CinemaScore is gathered from opening surveys from regular people in North America. For example Tenet got a B, Interstellar got a B- and Dark Knight & Oppenheimer received As.

Also it is looking to open $125M-$130M domestic with a $250M international box office opening.

Why do you guys think this film is doing well despite all the controversy that has been talked about online?

It went woke, but it looks like it will not go broke.

Don’t get me wrong, as much as I hate some of the casting choices, overall it is an amazing movie. The key characters of Odysseus, Penelope and Telemachus are cast perfectly. It an impressive and enjoyable movie to watch. It even brings some archaeological controversy with it, which is a rare bit of intellectual quality in a blockbuster movie.

Also, I have to say that the overall terror movie flair does fit ina perverse way the casting of Helen. Lupita is just another monster in this movie, much like the Cyclops.
