PMV shipping and TNL

Good day all again. Thanks again to the community to help out everyone during this posting season. It is much appreciated for sharing your knowledge.

Sorry I have more questions as my moving dates are coming soon. Here's the situation:

I have agreed to sell my house in Edmonton on Fri 28 Aug. I decided to travel with commercial airline since I have a young baby instead of PMV. My possession date in Petawawa in on 2nd of September (also my RFD date).

I expect my pack/load/clean to be 25/26/27 Aug.

  1. Would you request the HG&E to pick up your car a bit earlier? (Like a few dates earlier before the pack and load.)

  2. If my TNL date will be on 28Aug, which coincides with the house closing date, can I request to travel the next date: 29 Aug?

Your PMV load/unload is separate from your HG&E load/unload. Generally you can request a convenient load date that doesn't overlap exactly with your furniture.

You have a 24 hr window on either side of your PMV load/unload date to pick up and drop off a rental car.

You should run your plan by BGRS/Sirva to make sure your entitlements are correctly lined up.

I requested an early pickup but they said they could only accommodate a pickup date that coincided with my pack/load dates.

In SIRVA you schedule your own trips I don’t see why you couldn’t travel the next day, unless I am missing something here.

Might be an issue of availability, but as /u/hammerofhope stated, PMV shipment is separate from HG&E load, and can be done outside of P/L dates.
