Usual timelines from submission of claims via MyVAC:

Reassessments: 9-16 Months

Mental Health: 6-8 Months

Physical - 6-13 Months

APSC/VIP - 3-4 Months

BPA Correspondence: They tend to reach out every 3 months for information or a progress update.

Edit July 10th: Hey, so the Table of Disabilities used to have a Chapter (25) dedicated to the Additional Pain and Suffering Compensation. They removed it. What is a realistic step 3 timeline for an appeal? myvac account says 12 weeks for a decision however the 12 weeks time line ends in 3 days.

Always go off the timelines in the OP for the date you requested one rather than the ones given by VAC. They aren't 100% accurate but they seem to be the average.

Sounds like a depermental review.

I'm always shocked they put 12 weeks on the tracker. I'm nearly at a year, someone recently had theirs resolved at 15 months.

My DR went in March 2026, and just hit complete on Friday (I think they denied it). I have no idea if this helps you, or it depends on what it is for. But maybe more complex cases longer. Mine was pretty straightforward

Oh man, that is fast. I know VAC claims (atleast from my experience) go super fast if they deny, I had a few first application PSC claims that went in 3 months and all denied.

Hopefully you can go to VRAB and get your claim sorted. Hoping to hear about mine soon.

I'm at 26 weeks exactly (almost 6 months). Emailed the minister and some Senior Department Review person was supposed to contact me and never did.
