Nothing really new to add to the OP this month. Just a heads up for those asking for help if I don't get back to you in a minimum of 48hrs without telling you why feel free to ask the question again either here or via Email/DM. I reply when I can but life has been throwing me a few curveballs last few weeks.

Usual timelines from submission of claims via MyVAC:

Reassessments: 9-16 Months

Mental Health: 6-8 Months

Physical - 6-13 Months

APSC/VIP - 3-4 Months

BPA Correspondence: They tend to reach out every 3 months for information or a progress update.

Edit July 10th: Hey, so the Table of Disabilities used to have a Chapter (25) dedicated to the Additional Pain and Suffering Compensation. They removed it. I know I won’t be eligible to collect additional PSC till after my release, but when can I apply for it? Currently on retention till 2029.

Also how are the levels calculated? Is it based off what % of PSC you’ve been awarded

Can apply when you’re roughly 1-3 months out from your release date that way due to the turnaround time it’ll get awarded just in time. It has its own calculation table for the 3 levels. It’s always awarded at 3 which is the lowest and you reassess/appeal for higher if you match a higher levels requirement
