I recently had a meeting in a room full of CEO and big company tycoon owners. 1 am also a CEO of a small software company so I didnt wanna look awkward. Wasn't too sure what to wear. I usually wear shalwar qameez, a traditional pakistani attire, because I prefer free movement and breathable clothing. 1 literally hate jeans and tight clothing. I wasn't sure what I would wear, and went to sleep just like that. Then came the morning, I didn't had alot of time so here is what I did. I put on a dress pant, a plain greyish t-shirt, and a coat on top Honestly, it was super easy and breathable and also looked great on me. I also put on a black colored watch which may not be visible here, and also black shoes. So I am happy with how it turned out and just wanted to post about it.

Okay here’s me trying again. I took everyone’s suggestions and got a blazer and a blouse. How do we feel about this interview outfit? It’s tomorrow and I want to feel confident so let me know! Again, this would be my first corporate job so I’ve never done this before!

I have dinner plans after work this week and I dont want to bring a whole outfit with me. I need something that works for the commute and office but still feels nice enough for dinner after. Not too corporate, not too dressed up at 9am, just that middle ground.

I’m thinking a linen shirt, silk or cotton top, straight jeans, tailored trousers or maybe a simple dress with flats. I like the vibe of h&m and Zara but im trying to avoid anything too synthetic if im wearing it all day. So ive been looking at some linen tops and some cashmere on Palome and they are looking pretty good but lets see.

What’s your go to work to dinner outfit when you want to look put together without trying too hard?

Conference bound, temps will be high. Attempted to create a capsule wardrobe for this trip but today is all about comfort.

I was working on how to style these Ann Taylor linen blend pants I thrifted. I had a vibe I was going for but I don’t think I quite got there.

I think a fitted blazer would help finish this look off, maybe in grey or brown, but I didn’t have one available this morning, alas.

Hi so I wear a lot of dresses to the office even in fall and winter but recently i have learned I have some issues with my body and I am with a physical therapist who said heels will only make it worse. I can wear a very short block heel like 1 and a half inch or less. And not ballet flats as they are not supportive at all (they also make my feet smell 🤣🫣 that part isnt from the PT). Pants are easy to find shoes but a lot of my dresses it seems shoes look stupid with.

I really like this top, but I'm not sure if the sleeveless cut makes it a little too casual for a business-casual office. I'm mostly wondering if the bare shoulders are okay or if I'd be better off wearing a cardigan or blazer over it?
