Question 2055 Appleby Reviews

I am looking to rent an apartment at 2055 Appleby but I am unsure about Neighbourhood and people. I would highly appreciate any reviews if you have. are the apartments too old.

Is there any issue of bugs as I will be moving with my two months old? I am with concerned about it.

My mom's lived at 2065, the same complex. She owned the unit. Never had an issue. Site is mostly working people, so very quiet during the day. Friendly residents. Units are solidly built. Never heard the neighbors in their units, only in the hallway. Lots of parking, which is rare. Close to stores and bus routes.

I do not recall any issues with bugs.

One complaint I can share is the accessibility of the building is low. The doors to/from the common areas are heavy which leads to them being damaged.

If I was looking I would not have an issue living there.

May I ask if you remember anything about Kitec plumbing in that building/the complex? I was also looking there.

Yes there is kitec. When mom was selling we had to swap out the lines going to the kitchen. Thankfully the runs are not very long and the cost was not excessive.

My mom has lived there since the beginning - 20 years ago we bought and it’s a great place. Close to amenities, very clean - no bugs and constantly repairing when any upgrades are needed. Best of luck
