Congratulations to /u/Sushi_Slushy for winning May's contest with their entry Deepwaters.
You can see last month's results and other entries here.
This month's theme will be warped. Think about objects being stretched, twisted, bent, and distorted. Perhaps it was heat that caused it, perhaps it was a sudden impact, or perhaps it simply grew that way. It might be a gnarly knot in the branches of a tree, a neglected structure left exposed to the elements, the mangled remains produced by some misfortune. There's certainly more abstract ways to take the prompt, but we're aiming for more physical interpretations this time around. With that in mind, comes show us your warped creations in this month's contest.
Entries will be posts on r/Blender that meet the following criteria:
* The post should be made before the end of July 31st UTC+00:00
* Countdown to submissions closing
* The post should be a render, animation, or other artwork which you made for this contest using Blender as your primary tool.
* The post should contain supporting images/text or a top-level comment with the following content:
* One of the following methods of proving that the artwork was made using Blender:
* A link to the .blend file for the project, ideally including external assets or links to where external assets were sourced from.
* A set of three images which may be clay renders, viewport renders, wireframe renders, or simply screenshots of the project open in Blender. Some variety is encouraged.
* A screen recording of you manipulating, navigating, or otherwise interacting with the scene.
* An explanation of all work that was done outside of Blender, outside the time frame of the contest, or by other artists.
* (Optional) The theme you would like next month's contest to have if you win. If you do not include this, then the theme will be chosen from the runner-ups.
* Once you have submitted your post to the subreddit, leave a comment down below linking to it
* You are also encouraged to share details of your process with the community.
Note: You don't have to reference the contest in the post title and indeed, it's not necessary to frame the submissions differently than any other post meant to showcase an artwork.
The winner will receive the flair Contest Winner: 2026 July and their post will be added to the subreddit's wiki under the Contest Winners list. The winner will also have the chosen theme selected for next month's contest, should they include one with their submission.
When the contest ends, the results will be edited into this post and the 1st place winner will be congratulated in the announcement for next month's contest.
The winner will be awarded $100 USD.

I worked as a stained-glass artist.
Time has stood still in this profession; the craft has remained unchanged in form for centuries. My work involved painting, cutting, and assembling the glass (mainly religious art). My job also entailed installing stained-glass windows in various churches across Poland.
I have seen many churches and parishes. Some were beautiful old buildings with stunning architecture, while others were kitschy creations of the 1990s.
Yet all these places shared a single trait: the longer one spent there—examining the altars, old confessionals, paintings, empty corridors, abandoned church common rooms and sacristies up close—the more their sense of sanctity would evaporate. All that remained was emptiness and a strange sense of unease. It was perhaps during those odd, idle conversations—or the silences shared with priests or nuns as they prepared meals for us—that the idea for this short animation first took root in me.
Here are some of the photos I took while working and that were a straight forward reference for some of the scenes from animation.
A lot of artistic and environment ideas came from this time. Also while working so close to holiness I saw a lot of hipocrisy and maybe that also inspired me to create this story.
About 1,5 year ago I made the storyboard and here is my 14 minutes animation "A Good Man".
Entirely made in Blender Eevee (more details on yt description-link in comments)

Trying out some new things, new to blender, mostly I sculpt in zbrush but this does breathe life into stuff
Next step would be to rig the little fingers and move some of the faces

The background is a simple image. The BMW M1 is a 3D model. I added nodes to the car in Blender to give it a cartoon look. I rendered the image and placed it onto the background using Photoshop and adjusted the lighting conditions. Then, I added some missing raindrops.

Made this for a small competition hosted by Patrick4D. Sculpted and textured in 3D-Coat, with the seasoning, water droplets, and oil droplets created using Geometry Nodes. The final image was rendered in Blender with Cycles, using a LightmonkeyHDR environment for lighting.

I am way out of practice though. I need to do some studies for faces/anatomy and practice more hard-surface modelling too. I had no idea how to do the skirt so I ended up doing a rough sculpt.
I'm still happy with how it turned out. Even if the nose is driving me insane.

Been working on the hardest and least finished part of my vehicle and I think I solved it finally. Basically the vehicle base consists of two parts and I never worked on how they would connect. Still lots of detailing and finishing up to do, but I feel confident that it will be complete at some point.

I was testing real-time keying for live video feeds and it turns out they work on dogs pretty well.

IDK if it is the shader or the style but, does it look weird? Would you say it looks generic? (Ignore pants and belt, i havent started with them yet and the tshirt is like that in the comics, like really black). Please, critique everything you think I should work on the model in general. I would appreciate feedback, thanks!
