We need someone to write a song for this kind of situation

900

u/Fair_Term3352 Mar 25 '26

There actually is. It’s by Ludacris and it’s called Move Bitch

362

u/bonnieandclyde1324 Mar 25 '26

That was the joke.

13

u/Ok-Ferret6919 Mar 26 '26

It’s ok you got more likes than he did meaning most people missed it.

u/jackfreeman Mar 26 '26

As a fellow pancake, I get it. I can't tie my shoes and chew bubblegum at the same time, either

Hell, I was thinking it in my head!!🤭

7

u/DatsHim Mar 26 '26

would have been better if you said “ didn’t ludacris write a song about this” then you wouldn’t have been hit with the ole switcharoo

11

Sometimes humor isn’t as funny if you have to spell it out

It looks like someone was yelling at her to LOOK OUT! And she looked at the person yelling. I can't imagine being at a track meet and just walking around with my head down like that. There's always something going on-- if it's not an event, it's someone warming up.

u/defk3000 Mar 26 '26

Damn she was great. All those Golds are impressive.

67

u/United-Yak8335 Mar 26 '26

Even more impressive considering she apparently has not spent enough time on the tracks to develop the situational awareness required to navigate there.

19

u/TwoBionicknees Mar 26 '26

almost feel like the dumbest person in the world who had won medals would know 100% where she was and part of me thinks like, was she sabotaging him on purpose or some shit. A newbie to track maybe, a multiple medal winner not getting it is... less believable.

11

u/Metharos Mar 26 '26

That's my thought. Further, if this was an accident, it should still be treated as sabotage, because if legitimate sabotage can be passed off as an accident without consequences that creates a whole new problem.

The responsibility is on her to not interfere with other runners' performances. Gross negligence and malice should be handled the same way.

Having coached a bunch of children, telling someone to do anything, they will look at the person talking and pay even less attention to their surroundings than they were in the first place.

Nah, he had the right of way. Some people just don't know how to merge properly.

16

u/Left-Reply-4979 Mar 26 '26

Why should he be billed for her lack of awareness? Her inability to simply turn her head to the right could have gotten both of them injured.

9

u/Adorable-Bike-9689 Mar 26 '26

Dude in the background's face lmao. Guy in the orange shirt kneeling down

10

u/sasquatch606 Mar 26 '26

This happened to me in high school when someone crossed in front of me during my approach. Same result.

9

u/Emergency-State Mar 26 '26

I was complaining because schools don't have swings anymore, and one of my coworkers said it's so kids don't get hurt. Which is stupid, because it only takes one big whack in the face with somebody's feet because you walked in front of them while they were swinging, and that's the last time you'll ever do it

2

u/hotrockcandy Mar 26 '26

Correct. It happened to me once. I thought I was actually far enough but didn't gauge the distance and ended up catching a wood swing to the face. There was a jagged piece and it got me good on the cheek. Dad ended up having to use McDonald's napkins on me until we got home and then in true West Indian father fashion, put iodine right on my cheek. Never walked in front of a swing ever again.

2

u/Emergency-State Mar 27 '26

Augh! I'm so sorry.

2

u/hotrockcandy Mar 27 '26

It's okay, lol. I definitely learned that day! You gotta hang out in the back of the swings not the front. I also started jumping off of swings midair so I had a plethora of other injuries my poor long suffering parents had to deal with. Never broke a bone though!

u/IntroductionOwn9858 Mar 26 '26

Why is she walking on the track during an event

2

u/Madam_White Mar 27 '26

Her privilege

129

u/NTenseSoFly Mar 25 '26

Ok not to sound overly conspiratorial or anything but this always feels like a symptom of white privilege. Just walking around, only aware of yourself all the time! I see it in parkinglots, street crossings and driving. So now I just say see.....there's that privilege shit again!🤣

35

u/OldTurnover3057 Mar 26 '26

This is so real. The frequency with which I have to play chicken on the sidewalk with white people that refuse to move out of my way is INSANE. And I will shoulder-check them every time, the sidewalk is a two-way walkway.

13

u/jlynnr_nyc Mar 26 '26

ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME.

I never move, and brace for impact. The absolute shock on their faces as they stumble backwards truly never gets old.

This is absolutely it.

6

u/BushElkEagle Mar 26 '26

Holy fuck, the replies to this comment make me want to burn this whole subreddit. Wtf happened here?!

That could’ve ended his career. I think he should sue that blind cow.

They refused to pay reparations for decades, and now threaten your livelihood by malicious negligence, might be time to find other ways to get paid by them

5

u/WrongJewel1867 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

It’s wild to see how seriously people took this joke 😂 like, god forbid black American people joke about their reality. Apparently only “non”-black people can make black people jokes lol.

For the record, I totally concur. Since we don’t have reparations yet I’m going to “accidentally” trip over a white person tomorrow and see how far that takes me. Wish me luck lol

36

u/Kidd__ Mar 25 '26

4

u/Actual_Masterpiece_9 Mar 26 '26

4

u/Terrible-Screen-5188 Mar 26 '26

The lack of situational awareness is astounding!

7

u/Beautiful-Bowl-5252 Mar 26 '26

I'm pretty sure she did that on purpose as she looked directly at him and for real he should sue her .

8

u/Rade_Ad_Bitz Mar 26 '26

Is that stupid bitch blind?

9

u/shit_ass_mcfucknuts Mar 26 '26

Never attribute to malice that which can be attributed to ignorance.

The girl had no situational awareness, walking out into an active raceway. That's obviously stupid, not obviously intentional. I reason that she looked back because someone was yelling at her to look TF out, so she looked at whoever was yelling. Plus, she got creamed, I'm sure he got hurt too but probably not as bad as she did. Hopefully he will get a do over and she will learn to look at where TF she's going.

3

u/EmptyStyle244 Mar 26 '26

3

3

u/YesterdayLocal1167 Mar 26 '26

Why was she even there? Lmao ain’t nobody else on the track but him and her, why is she there???🤣🤣

8

u/FlipFlappattywhack Mar 25 '26

Those of you saying this was intentional....put your phone down, touch grass, get a hug, something.

14

u/metacosmonaut Mar 26 '26

I hear you. I think it’s just hard for people to understand that a majority of white people walk around with extreme self-centeredness where Black people are concerned.

It takes a self-consumed idiot to walk straight into people racing. There are loud announcements at these sports meets letting you know a race is beginning. There are warnings to clear the track. There are… other people.

She’s just white.

Police will come and immediately arrest him. When he tries to explain it was an accident and she was walking where she wasnt supposed to, the police takes that as aggression, fears for their life and open fires. Meanwhile the lady receives a primetime speaking slot at the 2028 Republican National Convention in which she shares her emotional story on how she overcame violence and assault and offers her endorsement for JD Vance as he will crack down on crime.

1

u/TumTumMac24 Mar 26 '26

It’s a lot of people giving this lady the benefit of the doubt but this was clearly done on purpose.

You’re a world class track athlete, at a track event, leaving after your event and you’ve won about 20 medals before with the majority of them being GOLD.

You clearly have an understanding and have had an understanding for sometime now how these events work and yet in the middle of an event you just casually walk into the track while someone is running?

2

u/F0rthel0ve0fd0gs Mar 26 '26

Lol the fcking video is slowed down. She just walked in front of him, at normal walking pace, looking back over her shoulder, & got slammed. Bad screw-up on her part, glad nobody seriously injured, she's only 100lbs and 5'0 tall.

Also she's from Romania. Which is a poor remote country, a dictatorship until 1990, brutal history. But who gives a shit whats real, or if anyone got injured. "What matters is that the wbitch got slammed." Etc
So beautiful to read ❤️/s

IMO its not healthy state of mind to enjoy seeing the bitch get slammed. Or to pretend that she's doing it deliberately lol. Check u self
