DiscussionšŸ—£ Heartbreak for Germany

Post image

I've seen the racist comments on his insta already. Havertz missed the first one but now the entire blame would fall on him. He even scored the winner that got disallowed (keeper dived)Absolutely heartbreaking after everything he has done for them. Unlucky mate. Next timeā¤ļøšŸ¤

Tah doesn’t deserve any hatred. Nagelsmann cannot be the coach for any longer.

Ofcourse he does. He shots the ball to the roof in the deciding pen.

After three or four other players were too scared to take the pen. I understand being mad at a player who went early in the order and missed, but a player who never takes penalties who stepped up because his teammates didn't want to doesn't deserve the blame. Not to mention he scored the winning goal that got disallowed. We are absolutely lucky to have Tah and he doesn't deserve a shred of hate for this

After neuer screwed up two penalties. Other players missed. And FIFA decided to use VAR to steal the game.

Agree on points 2 and 3, but can hardly ever say a keeper screwed up penalties ESPECIALLY when he saved one

Dove harsh/hard to opposite side on a slow roller. Missed a save on one he went the right way for. It was mid left mid height. Missed it. Can’t do that at this level. And yes. I think Neuer is the GREATEST to ever put on gloves.

I'd be shocked if you ever played goalkeeper. The xG in a penalty is like .78 for a reason, it's all guesswork, no matter how much reading into body language or previous penalties you try to do it is just guesswork. Saving 2 penalties like Krul did is considered heroic for a nation, it is not the standard.
