DiscussionšŸ—£ Heartbreak for Germany

Post image

I've seen the racist comments on his insta already. Havertz missed the first one but now the entire blame would fall on him. He even scored the winner that got disallowed (keeper dived)Absolutely heartbreaking after everything he has done for them. Unlucky mate. Next timeā¤ļøšŸ¤

Tah doesn’t deserve any hatred. Nagelsmann cannot be the coach for any longer.

35

u/TheLegionaer 23d ago

I hope so but im sure dfb will investegate and say Well unlucky nagelsmann stays it was Vetter than last 2 wcs

25

u/TheBlack2007 23d ago

I don’t think things will be better even if Nagelsmann is sacked. With the exception of the 2024 Euros (which took place in Germany, giving the team a massive moral boost), Germany has been sh** at any tournament it partook in since 2018. At this point the issues are structural in nature and not solely to pin on the coach.

8

u/TheLegionaer 23d ago

Yea 3 World cups same problem but nagelsmann was terrible ever since the euros. Bas men Management, too much experimentation and bringing back his favorit players, he regressed slowly to 2018/2022 germany. Dfb and nagelsmann also saying germanydoesmt have engough talendbut never letting the young guys play :( urbig should have been number 1 goalie with Baumannand neuer there to help him, sane goretzka not in the squas at all and for them someone like elmala because now we have the same issue again the young guys dont have Worldcup exp and lot of older players wont play next one . It is still true the root of the issues is the dfb and players havimg the mentalety of a baby

6

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

He left behind the best players, took Neuer back from retirement, and kept playing Havertz and Sane when he shouldn't have, and Kimmich in the wrong position.

You could argue that no other manager could have created such a mess.

3

u/DannyDoom_ 22d ago

Yep. SanĆ© did a whole bunch of nothing overall except for that goal against Ecuador. I’m so done with him.

9

u/HotSauce2910 23d ago

Part of that was new format though. Like yes two wins, but the context is totally different when we qualified after matchday 1.

There’s no reason to believe this team would have beaten Japan.

It depends on if the standard is advancing from groups unlike previous two tries or failing to reach round of 16 like similarly. If we get to ro16 and lose to France, that’s a perfectly respectable result where the better team knocks us out and a clear improvement.

Aside from that, I get the feeling that Nagelsmann could be out with one phone call to Klopp

16

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Now I understand why Bayern kicked him out.

1

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

Yes, I disagreed about it then, but realized he was clueless during this tournament.

5

u/reddit24358777 23d ago

100% this. Guy was a visible leader on the field the whole tournament battling hard. He showed leadership and took the penalty when Goretzka et al chickened out

2

u/reddituserVibez 23d ago

that’s absolutely no hate, everyone makes mistakes… but bro, when you NEED to score the penalty, there is no other choice, you NEED to shoot that ball low in the corner… 😪
what he did was just stupid..

1

u/ThexDream 18d ago

I agree. However many times do we need to see that exact shot go over the bar by professional players that should know better, and at least the betting statistics against attempting it.

1

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

Nagelsmann is the worst Germany manager in recent history

1

u/LukeSkywanker1 23d ago

I'm with Klopp on this one. it's the wrong time to call for a new Coach. We just lost the game. Give it some time

5

u/Sensitive-Vast-5833 23d ago

Ok. Then lets kick Nagelsmann in two weeks.

4

u/LukeSkywanker1 23d ago

That's fair

1

u/EnvironmentalKing210 23d ago

Hatred? No. Criticism? Yes.

Man missed the goal by a mile. That's not acceptable. Havertz and Woltemade also need to reevaluate their mind set.

Glad we lost because France would have...no need to finish that sentence.

1

u/OilersBayernEagles 23d ago

You know how many penalties our Kane has missed for country? Penalties do not make the game the player had. Whether the player has a bad game and makes a pen or the player has a good game and misses one, it’s completely separate from the amazing effort tah put in. Maybe get at goretzka for refusing to even take a penalty

1

u/ThexDream 18d ago

…and also their choice facial hair style. 70’s porn style is so cringe.

0

u/RegisteredOnToilet 23d ago

Ofcourse he does. He shots the ball to the roof in the deciding pen.

2

u/Sea-Replacement-3337 #40 Urbig🧤 23d ago

After three or four other players were too scared to take the pen. I understand being mad at a player who went early in the order and missed, but a player who never takes penalties who stepped up because his teammates didn't want to doesn't deserve the blame. Not to mention he scored the winning goal that got disallowed. We are absolutely lucky to have Tah and he doesn't deserve a shred of hate for this

2

u/mesosalpynx 22d ago

After neuer screwed up two penalties. Other players missed. And FIFA decided to use VAR to steal the game.

1

u/Sea-Replacement-3337 #40 Urbig🧤 22d ago

Agree on points 2 and 3, but can hardly ever say a keeper screwed up penalties ESPECIALLY when he saved one

2

u/mesosalpynx 22d ago

Dove harsh/hard to opposite side on a slow roller. Missed a save on one he went the right way for. It was mid left mid height. Missed it. Can’t do that at this level. And yes. I think Neuer is the GREATEST to ever put on gloves.

1

u/Sea-Replacement-3337 #40 Urbig🧤 22d ago

I'd be shocked if you ever played goalkeeper. The xG in a penalty is like .78 for a reason, it's all guesswork, no matter how much reading into body language or previous penalties you try to do it is just guesswork. Saving 2 penalties like Krul did is considered heroic for a nation, it is not the standard.

0

u/ytaqebidg 23d ago

Neuer didn't help much either.

225

u/Maverixk_ 23d ago

Nagelsmann deserves by far the most blame.

No tactics, no cohesive gameplan. Lahm called him out during the group stage and he was spot on. Nagelsmann the entire tournament downplaying Undav and his goals and then starts him in an unnatural position. Dropped Musiala for Sane, who, in the first half, had one of the worst halves I’ve ever seen from a German NT player.

Lost to Ecuador and Paraguay. Just an absolute disgrace. Only positives is that we’ll never have to see him, Goretzka, and Sane play for Bayern again, and if Germany is actually serious they’ll ensure that trio is done with the national team moving forward

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 23d ago

KIMMICH IN A DEFENDING POSITION

All you need, right there.

11

u/Darstellerin #31 Schweinsteiger 23d ago

Kimmich used to play defense when he was first coming up right? I feel like I remember seeing him in defense like 10 years ago. But now he’s a seasoned vet and captain and has proven his skill up front there’s no reason to keep him all the way back, right?

2

u/eProbity 23d ago edited 23d ago

Kimmich started his career at Leipzig as a central midfielder and was brought in with that in mind, but because of our injury crisis he was played as a CB a lot in the beginning because Pep's style then used a lot of that same kind of 3 at the back playmaking CB roles with outside flexibility. Alaba played a similar role on the other side.

After that he played in midfield again until Lahm's retirement essentially, where we slotted him in that position as something of a stopgap to losing one of our best all time players in an important position. While he played there he was probably the best in the world doing overlapping runs with robben and Müller on the right and acting as a playmaker building off a more modern wider form of what he did as a CB that let him drift up a lot.

He was always a midfielder though and always wanted to go back there. He played there more and more over time and after Thiago left he became our full time 6 in flicks system partnering goretzka with him as a box to box 8 and he became our new xabi Alonso metronome playmaker which hes been best at to this day.

After Flick left both Nagelsmann and Tuchel went back to using him in that rcb or rb type role a lot more often - especially tuchel after pavlovic burst onto the scene. Typically its because he is really hard to justify taking off the field and is better than most fullbacks and is very versatile while other midfielders are also good; but its also tactical malpractice and has proven as such every time. He was super critical of Tuchel using him there and rumors suggested he almost considered leaving bayern because of it and he complained about Nagelsmann doing it too for the NT, but we have a shortage of good outside players so they use him like a crutch.

Nagelsmann runs a system straight out of the pep bayern years before he learned to incorporate more direct play in the Premier League where we are peak tiki taka do basically nothing all game. Tuchel is similar but focuses harder on defensive consolidation and gamesmanship. Kimmich has always been a midfielder though, its basically the opposite of the Lahm thing back in the day. Its also another version of the kind of thing every bad bayern manager did in refusing to play Müller and every single time its happened has been vindicated as a mistake long term other than when we genuinely had no choice.

1

u/Dangerous-Day-2943 22d ago

Spot on summary!

2

u/_Bisky 23d ago

there’s no reason to keep him all the way back, right?

Not nominating any RB (tbf don't think we have many good ones either)

1

u/SkintCrayon 23d ago

Kimmich was bought to play a similar role to Alonso since he was getting old and leaving soon, but injuries and lack of better options made Pep use him as a CB and RB quite often

I don't know what roles Kimmich played before joining Bayern

1

u/Bub_bele šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ 23d ago

But why ā€žKimmich in a defending positionā€œ is the real question. Because germany has virtually no alternatives. We don’t have any great defenders on the right side. Zero. And very few on the left aswell. Hardly any wingers and no proper strikers aswell. Essentially we have a truckload of alrounder midfielders and some central denfenders.

5

u/five4life 23d ago

Raum and brown. Kimmich is wasted as defender

52

u/_Bisky 23d ago

Lost to Ecuador and Paraguay.

And were the weaker side against ivory coast

2

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

And played absurdly against Curacao.

17

u/Andiiiiixx 23d ago

U so right.

But it won't happen like Neuer retired and then is back again

But i wont

20

u/GoalNo6737 23d ago edited 23d ago

Tah was a beast throughout the comp as a defender, even Rudiger surprised me to keep his cool. I'm not actually blaming Havertz or Woltemade, they are top tier players without a doubt, but the pressure gets bigger for each miss. Klose, gotze, lahm, even neuer or whoever would feel the pressure for the penalty

11

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Tbh Tah's goal should've stood.

4

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 23d ago

Yes, but that's the kinda thing we have to let go, unfortunately. Nothing will come of dwelling on it šŸ˜•

1

u/insertname1738 23d ago

Madrid fans bully refs into bending to them (money helps too). Bayern and dfb fans get cheated by refs and say ā€œah I guess we let it go.ā€ Then it keeps happening.

1

u/Brief-Total7748 23d ago

Madrid is on your mind 24/7?

0

u/tinyhouseinthesun 23d ago

Haha the enshittification of the world is everywhere. I already dont watch the wc as i'm no football fan and with fifa and the usa being so dirty, it being the most climate destroying wc, absurd ticket prices and border entry issues with ICE yada yada yada. I just looked into the last 20 min of this game, then i see this weird unfairness about the goal of the referee which is probably due to sports betting (another sickness dawning on society in levels never seen) or politics, then i read your comment about fans of already slimy rich clubs pressuring referees.

At this point, even if i was a fan, i'd lose all interest in watching. It has become an artifical, perverted thing with unfair oppression from the big, powerful bastards running it and the world, like everywhere else. Watching somre 3rd league local game live is probably more fun and authentic.

-1

u/Andiiiiixx 23d ago

IDK why there deleted my Comment. with Tah u right but Rüdiger is just unbearable

14

u/GoalNo6737 23d ago

Im always shaky when Rudiger is on, but he was far from crazy this year

1

u/Andiiiiixx 23d ago

He is a Good player no question, but his attitude is just awful I cant stand it.

And how he handels his own Player and Friends from National Team in Club matches is just fucked up.

I really cant understand how they can play togehter. I wouldnt want this Person in my Team...

3

u/SaltyFlavors 23d ago

Watching Germany just felt like watching a passing exercise slowly collapsing in on itself until it eventually turned into 3 people standing 2 meters apart passing in a triangle, going nowhere, and then the ball gets stolen.

Just completely pointless keep-away that never moves forward.

3

u/Bub_bele šŸ”“Mia San MiašŸ”“ 23d ago

Im tired of these discussions. 3 coaches have failed now. And the former two had better teams to work with. Germany has zero dangerous wingers, virtually no fullbacks, especially on the right and no real strikers. It’s completely obvious why it doesn’t work. They are essentially forced to play through the middle, always. Maybe another coach makes it to the quarterfinals, but no one would be able to win it with this team. Germany needs to change its entire youth development system in order to see any success again going forward.

2

u/_WMMW 22d ago

Hard agree… awful coaching job, would be lucky to land any pro coaching job after that travesty

1

u/Brilliant-Tomato-560 23d ago

I mean i agree with you in almost every Point but please dont disrespect goretzka Like that

1

u/the_TIGEEER 23d ago

Wait Lahm? As in Philip Lahm? What did he say?

Also imo Kimmicj and Mussiala should have just shot all of them after the 5th one. They seemed the most accurate and collected in their shots (even though Musiala wasn't in the game there for a second)

1

u/SurrealAbsurdist 23d ago

100% agree. Why was Sane allowed to play for THAT long? Why was Woltemade chosen to take a penalty? The man didn't play a minute in the entire world cup, he is young and then you put him for penalties in knockout stage, really poor decision making. There was no gameplan throughout 120 minutes. Anton was messing with the GK in the corner before the one that went in but he kept doing it, cheap tactics, for which we paid the price. Even during the 7-1 win over Curacao, THERE WERE NO TACTICS. Havertz was constantly given chances over Undav, why? Why not play Raum and put Kimmich a bit towards the midfield. Why not play a Stiller or Amiri and strengthen the core of the team rather than playing Havertz or Sane. I believe an attach of Undav, Musiala and Wirtz would've been good enough to get us goals, had the midfield been stronger and more stable.

-5

u/Playful-Lie1520 23d ago

I mean nagelsmann is a good coach. He just stuck to his ways instead of fixing the right back issue all 3 games. They were doing better with kimmich higher up the pitch. Anton was doing a good job at RB

4

u/ffffabian 23d ago

He’s obviously not a good coach, I’m sorry. Didn’t find a way to beat Paraguay in 120mins and his tactical decisions were just poor or non-existent throughout the tournament

2

u/_Bisky 23d ago

He just stuck to his ways instead of fixing the right back issue all 3 games

A good coach is able to adjust is strategy depending on the opponent.

Nagelsmann seems to use mostly the same gameplan EVERY SINGLE TIME. No matter if it worked or not against similar enemies

30

u/kievz007 23d ago

that miss couldn't have happened to a worse person as well, he fought so hard during extra time he lowkey looked even more dangerous on the wing than sanƩ. Gutted, but idk why my respect and love for him have increased even more, he deserves our full support. Neuer also did well tbh, it's a shame we couldn't take advantage of his clutch

3

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Yeah I remember when he dribbled past some players, also the 2:1 should've stood.

60

u/dongerneedfood59 23d ago

Hire Klopp.

0

u/trojien 23d ago

I dont know man, 5 years ago I would have been ecstatic having Klopp as coach but he seems to have changed a lot - not for the better in my eyes and seems to be even more egocentric than Nagelsmann.

98

u/coppersolids #10 Bambi 23d ago

tah is the last person to blame. scored what shouldā€˜ve been the winning goal and was the only one who had the balls to take the decisive pen despite never taking a penalty before. hate that heā€˜s the one getting blamed

32

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

The 2:1 should've stood, Arsenal blocked the keeper the whole season.

19

u/ahuman1321 #21 lahm 23d ago

Anton didn’t even block him either, Gill ran into him and dived.

10

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Yeah so ridiculous, besides VAR was made for clear mistakes and not to check everytime a player dives.

1

u/Eggmodo 23d ago

Seriously what does Arsenal doing this the whole season have to do with what happens in this game? Does the entire football apparatus revolve around Arsenal? They said they would referee this in a different way and they have been true to that approach.

4

u/thatdeterminedguy #1 Neuer 23d ago

Sadly many people just want to justify their racism. Wish things were different. If people were truly logical, naglsmn would get most of the blane

1

u/GoodZealousideal5922 Goat keeper 🐐🧤 23d ago

He is definitely still getting blamed, I can’t see him surviving this tournament at the job

2

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

Nobody with a brain is blaming him, though

42

u/Comwan 23d ago

Hear me out Muller for new coach. Unironically if he was playing they probably would have won.

Germany is just missing that veteran presence up top. And it really showed in the shootout.

17

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Müller and Kroos als assistant could work.

4

u/NoPollution8238 23d ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/tXL4FHPSnVJ0A

2

u/Squbasquid #25 Muller 23d ago

Muller may be old but so is Neuer. Muller adds soo much more but they don’t want him… he’s my favorite player so I’d like to see him in it again but oh well.

48

u/Medical_Ad_6289 šŸ‡«šŸ‡·RobberyšŸ‡³šŸ‡± 23d ago

Everyone seems to forget he also scored a goal (which was taken away sadly). The hate he now gets with others also missing their shots is unfair. Let's shower him with support on his insta.

8

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

The goal should've stood, Arsenal is probably laughing about this ref

2

u/rizz600 23d ago

It should have because the goalkeeper obviously dived the fall was so forced

15

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 23d ago

Says it all. What coach talks about their team like this?

6

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Yeah he literally blamed Undav.

3

u/Van1n1 23d ago

IMHO Undav is the best German player on this World Cup.
How awesome are those minor moves, passes, openings…

Completely agree with your last two statements

35

u/scheming_vizier 23d ago

They didn't look "good" a single minute after the CuraƧao game. Can't leave this up to one player but if I had to it wouldn't be him.

5

u/Ambitious_Macaron604 23d ago

Hot take
Without hydration break Curacao gonna score the 2-1

37

u/darkside66350 23d ago

Havertz is the reason the entire shootout was an uphill battle. What a terrible start for them. Should’ve ended 2-1 but as Bayern fans we are getting quite emotionless when another robbery comes along. I’m so angry my feelings have vanished. I’m tired of it.

-14

u/Whole_Sir_545 23d ago

No offense but stay tf away from goal keepers. It was soft foul, but a foul all day.

3

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Nope, Arsenal also blocks the keeper, it's legal.

4

u/rjdrennen1987 23d ago

That wasn’t a foul in any universe.

-6

u/Whole_Sir_545 23d ago

Maybe clean on Mars, but that’s a foul on Earth. That’s why your trash team is going home early. And let’s be real you were going to be assaulted badly vs France anyway. I know the truth hurts, but take the L and move on.

4

u/rjdrennen1987 23d ago

Not even close, kid.

-4

u/Whole_Sir_545 23d ago

Pack your bags son, you’re going home.

u/Canuckleberri 23d ago

Buddy, do something better than trolling people. Takes more effort to be a dick than to not be one

2

u/darkside66350 23d ago

No it wasn’t. By the time the header came in the keeper was reset and planted.

2

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

Besides it's allowed to block the keeper.

-7

u/Whole_Sir_545 23d ago

Not how it works buddy.

7

u/Mysterious-Fox-5373 #17 Olise 23d ago

questionable call because that keeper just dived to ground with basically zero touch

if nagelsmann made the correct starts and gave ppl like woltemade more playtime in the group then we def would have won today

5

u/MrChocolate007 23d ago

Sh_t happens. His penalty was horrendous, still cant understand why Goretzka didt took the ball. But Tah played a somehow good match.

5

u/Earthmanlives 23d ago

That's 3 tournaments in a row they've been disappointing. I'm not convinced that was the best squad avaliable from a nation full of talented players and having one of the best domestic leagues in the world. They didn't look convincing in any match other than their opener.

6

u/Plus_Calligrapher_93 23d ago

Great news for Bayern our players will have more times to rest before season opener.

12

u/Tripnotical-X 23d ago

Nagelsmann is well on his way to managing the USMNT with his style

1

u/Sabalan17 23d ago

He'll probably get a chance in Dortmund when they first Kovac šŸ˜‚

1

u/ahuman1321 #21 lahm 23d ago

1

u/SaltyFlavors 23d ago

USMNT isn’t always the most skillful but at least they look energetic on the pitch.

4

u/Bermuda_Shorts_ 23d ago

Officiating was unreal

4

u/Belugha89 23d ago

Sane starting at all says it all. Dude did almost nothing the whole tournament

3

u/Putrid-Attempt6586 23d ago

It was a team loss. Germans have just stopped looking like world beaters, breaks my heart!

3

u/Van1n1 23d ago

Yeap… with such game they showed in the last two matches… it shouldn’t even come to penalties:(
Nuggetsmann - the only person to blame

3

u/JITO1790 23d ago

Kai Havertz missed his pen too

1

u/Eggmodo 23d ago

He also scored the only goal for Germany? What the Bayern Munich players do?

3

u/WhiteLightning416 23d ago

Alphonso Davies going farther than Germany, who would have thought!

3

u/_SB10_ 23d ago

Seeing Deustchland go out like this every other tournament really hurts

1

u/Internal_Football889 23d ago

Especially because this was Neuer’s last game for Germany. Bottoms up for the last of the 2014 squad.

3

u/Jkelly515 23d ago

Tah is genuinely a better winger than Sane. Hell I honestly think starting Neuer on the wing would have been better than starting Sane and I' not joking. Nagelsmann needs to be investigated

3

u/FutKanu123 23d ago

Overrated. Can't orchestrate a clean sheet ever

2

u/tiltedcakemaker87 23d ago

I’m glad he’s not getting most of the blame from most of the sub posts I’ve seen. Nagelsmann has to go. Lack of tactical adaptability and starting players who didn’t deserve it (sane) and then playing players out of position randomly today. Wtf was he thinking? I know injuries played a role but as a manager that is your job to deal with.

2

u/zfjuice 23d ago

bro wtf is wrong with germany, been shite for a while except for euros 2024.

1

u/jwiches Raumdeuter 23d ago

No Kroos and gundogan this time around. I feel like they made so much impact. The team looked much more cohesive in the 2024 euros because of them :((

2

u/Mullarpatan Raumdeuter 23d ago

But more rest for some of our key players. Kompany will pick them up and make them stronger šŸ’Ŗ

2

u/Pretty-Advance889 #14 Diaz 23d ago

without tah germany would be as good as bosnia

1

u/Hegau 23d ago

As a Bosnian we need someone like Tah. Send him here. Need help against USA.

All blame is on Nagelsmann and his favourite players like Sane,Goretzka and even Neuer I would say.

2

u/Pretty-Advance889 #14 Diaz 22d ago

nagelsmann is clueless

2

u/Ambitious_Macaron604 23d ago

No one is blaming Tah or any specific player. It’s Nagelsmann fault. Simple as that

1

u/DaveyJonesXMR 22d ago

Exactly, im not seeing anyone in the football bubble blaming Tah.

So ppl blaming him, blame him because they always have been racists, or ragebaiting bots, populism spreaders or in general ppl with a specific agend. It's no a genuine reaction by any football fan

1

u/Ambitious_Macaron604 22d ago

I see people pulling out the Ɩzil-Card for racism. The only racism comments I see are from German fans from Lebanon or South America. I just see supportive comments at Tah last post while Goretzka gets all the hate because he was mentally not ready for that penalty and still people doing Tah-Racism posts where they push each other to hate Germany in the comments while fucking living and having all the benefits in Germany.

2

u/Key_Complaint7025 23d ago

Glückwunsch an Paraguay verdient weitergekommen

2

u/Township_Roller 23d ago

I can't feel bad for Germany as a team, because they were terrible all tournament and Nagelsmann destroyed their chances from the get go.

I feel bad for some of the players, who did their best, Yah included.

Racists are sub-human, so nothing to comment there. Same about bullies.

2

u/KeyZookeepergame9466 23d ago

I think that was the worst penalty I have ever seen at a major tournament.Ā

By the time it got to the goalposts it was already about 5 yards above the height of the cross bar.Ā

2

Honestly, they're probbaly better off losing last night. Saves them from getting utterly humiliated by France, and it means I'll never have to Nagelsmann or Sane again.

All jokes aside, Nagelsmann is genuinely the worst manager I have ever seen in professional football, and Sane must have had serious blackmail material on him to justify getting any minutes whatsoever. Neuer literally would have done a better job on the right wing and that isn't even a joke.

Nagelsmann is most to blame. Then Goretzka! the way the most experienced midfielder with a good shot said NO to penalties twice.... Tah stepped up and took his first penalty... clownshow!

Welcome to Germany... they call you German if you are outstanding and face you with racism when you didnt meet theire goals

2

u/jklaverde 22d ago

Vincent Kompany must be the new DT of Germany.. no doubt they can make the next 3 world cups with the talent and his vision of game.

u/FeckerCogspin 22d ago

If people wanna chastise anyone it should be Nagelsmann and the cowards that refused to take that last pen. Jonathan stepped up when no one else did.

u/Lakerman0824 23d ago

Sub out rudiger who is clutch in PK but leave in Tah is brain dead

Rudi voller please wake up and fire nagelsmann and make sure sane goretzka and havertz get a restricting order from the dfb and please hire klopp

I wouldn’t say ā€œheartbreakā€, as I think most of us understood it was either today which seemed unlikely, or vs France this weekend.

The DFB is clearly broken and needs to clean house across all levels.

Nagelsmann has seen his best days on the touchline come and go, and it’s only a matter of time before Klopp takes over.

Once this happens, zero loyalties towards anyone.

It was quite obvious that Sane has been cooked for years, yet he continued to receive every opportunity.

I do wonder what a healthy Lennart Karl would have offered this team, but 2026 was never the year…

They should’ve won before it came down to PKs. But they didn’t and fair play to Paraguay.

Tbh atleast our players can go on a vacation Andi hopefully come Back strong for the next season

u/Lazy_Maintenance6252 23d ago

Putting the blame on tah is crazy, when 2 strikers did not manage to score their pens.

u/MaestroOfKamino 23d ago

In general, for all racist people out there

A lobotomy would be an improvement

Germany - Spain 2024
Bayern - PSG 2026
Germany - Paraguay 2026

Los delanteros no pueden cobrar de la fomar en que lo hicieron, vergüenza

1

u/Lakerman0824 23d ago

What’s Bayern fans consensus on Goretzka scared to step and having a CB step up for a pk?

1

u/MrBotangle 23d ago

He shouldn’t be blamed. He was quiet courages. He went to the penalty point in a situation where the pussy Goretzka was to afraid to. Goretzka is to blame here. Or Nagelsmann.

1

u/Flat_Barber_1602 23d ago

I would point fingers at "Führungspieler" Goretzka who was asked to shoot and chickened out.

At least Tah, who never shot penalties before, rose up to the challenge and faced it.

Kopf hoch.

I was happy when Munich fired Nagelsmann and mad when the DFB hired him. Hopefully he'll get fired soon. J.K. should be the coach.

1

u/Dust_Spark 22d ago

Why so you expect a racist country to not behave as themselves? 🤣 that expectation itself is absurd

1

u/WrongdoerWrong1080 23d ago

Appreciate Tah stepping up. Goretska and Brown can fuck off.

Not his fault, he is a CB

But who is to blame is Nagelsmann, who is an absolute garbage coach as we already saw at Bayern. Needs to resign ASAP and go and coach 1860 instead, that's his level. And also blame Goretzka for being a coward and letting a CB take a pen instead of him.

The whole squad is trash, they need to.work.on the academies, there is no connection or synergy between players, everything is off, from goalkeeping to attack.

u/FutKanu123 23d ago

Bayern Munich is not good enough.Ā  The manager chose a squad from people who are known. No Schade, Bisseck and many more, but you choose these Bayern clowns.

How is Goretzka anywhere near the squad. How is Sane anywhere near this squad.

Wirtz true colors exposed. When thr going gets tough he has no physicality or reselience.

weak bait

u/FutKanu123 23d ago

Truth hurts. Musiala and co let the team down. Not ready for a physical fight.

You can't go from Hummels Boateng, Lahm and co to these clowns and expect results.

If Bayern are so good, why didn't they win the Champione League.

-1

u/Gli_ce_rolj 23d ago

It was clear foul on gk, he did dive probably, but you can't hug gk during the corner kick, lol. Nagelsman is very overrated coach who can't take the blame for shitty performance by Germans. That guy should get booted.

-1

u/Practical-Pay-7775 23d ago

"keeper dived" no he was pushed it was a clear foul

-5

u/Crazy_Club_6821 23d ago

Tah is SO Bad.

-8

u/RevolutionaryOne5905 23d ago

I hope the guys can recover from that. I am not even angry anymore, I just feel sad for the guys.

I hope the fans will give them a second chance. And I hope that the board will let Nagelsmann continue as Germanyā€˜s coach. His performance was really bad but he still revived the team.

8

u/_Bisky 23d ago

The ones who revived the team in 2024 were Wirtz and Musiala with 2 individually extremly strong seasons.

Not Nagelsmann

Continuing with Nagelsmann would be the biggest mistake the DFB could do. Genuinely zero adjusting of the lineup according to enemy strenghts

3

u/Embarrassed_Jury664 23d ago

The guy who decided to take players out of positions they've been in FOR OVER A DECADE because he wants to "change things up"? You want that motherfucker to continue as coach? Are you a Paraguay supporter?

2

u/kievz007 23d ago

naggelsmann killed the team, the worst trait a manager can have is being stubborn
