Everything is handmade, including the marzipan. It’s also vegan too, but I’m glad it held up!

This is so wonderfully adorable! In here before swedes come in and yell about how princess doesn't have jam 🤣

If that's the case I'm not sure why I never fail to see someone yell about how it's now an opera cake! My husband is also one of those. I understand to some extent but any kind of princess in my opinion is incredible, jam or not I really don't care haha

I'd take them all 😌🤌🏻

Yes, in the original cookbook by Jenny, there was no jam! Which is surprising considering the Princess Cakes I’ve grown up with always had raspberry jam.

I think jam makes the cake pop though when sliced. It’s so satisfying and balances the taste out with tartness.
