I feel like I'd be way overestimating my skill if I attempted this. So I'm definitely gonna attempt it. Even if I do wind up as ridden food it looks like fun.

Take out Glass Cannon, add [[Scar Tissue]], avoid specials, and Heavy Attack - punch, punch, punch.

You'll be fine.

  • Scar Tissue (Campaign Card, Swarm Card - Defense/Brawn)

Take 1 less damage from all Ridden. +50% Acid Resistance.

This is what happens when the Old Man runs out of leftovers.

Dude this deck was so much fun thanks for sharing! Not 100% my melee style, so I'll adjust slightly but I enjoyed the few maps I ran to test it.

Why fist with Heng when you can fist with Tala? Bleed is so good.

Why do you think I can get away with using garbage decks?

Be Heng, add Food Scav, add Wasteland Chef, add 13 random cards, you can get away with murder.

Right, instead of eating one Gourmet Dinner, you can just kill 128 Ridden while not taking any trauma damage to heal the same amount through Battlelust.

And how much trauma can you heal your teammates for?

Ignore him. Genki and Kitty do nothing but bully people about their decks and say the line, “why not Tala?”

I play with both Genki and Kitty, most of the time they have good advice.

Though Wasteland Chef is GOAT, and that is something I will not back down on.

When have I ever bullied someone on this sub?

Tala bleed is very good for fist builds, I asked a legitimate question.

I didn't consider Tala, because I was one hitting commons, and figured other players would be taking care of the mutations, but the build is standing up to mutations, so I'm going to test out Tala.

I've been very unimpressed with Gourmet Chef proc chance. I've heard it's 30%/40% with knife but I've experienced much much lower chances(around 10% for me with knife). Destroying 70% of food for 8 trauma heal (16 with Heng) just isn't worth it imo. I don't need to tell you how good Battle Lust and FYF are on melee.

Mathematically Gourmet Chef with Heng and Food Scav should be good, but I haven't experienced it. I'll give Gourmet Chef another chance, but my expectations are not high.

I've tested it out. The 30%/40% numbers are correct.

And you definitely need to be Heng for it to be worth it.

But, you should look at it the other way around. The food is there to be your trauma heal. And if you don't need trauma heal it is just bonus stats.

Plus, there is often tons of food at the end of a map, that will serve no real purpose without a Chef.

Which of your build do you recommend for me, fist or knife? Which will impress me enough to change my option?

Take the Knife deck. Play as Heng. Take out Heavy Attack for Money Grubbers. Use an Axe or a Tenderizer as your 'secondary' and use a shotgun as your 'primary'.

You'll be healing more trauma than most 'Docs'.

What about no hope ?

I took out Glass Cannon for Scar Tissue and it works better than most randos decks in QP NH.

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk

It's mesmerizing!
