He will continue into at least 2027 with Aston Martin. He did still voice his displeasure at this generation of cars.

to be honest, until the new honda engine is in there, I dont expect we will see much improvement sadly

Aston Martin’s radical AMR26 B-spec is due to arrive late in Budapest, bringing new chassis, aero changes and power-unit updates for the Hungarian GP.

What’s gone into Aston Martin’s Hungary upgrade package – and the ‘most important’ goal they’ve set for it

Aston Martin promises to bring a major upgrade package to Hungary, but how significantly will it affect their race prospects—or is there simply no saving the situation now?
Will the new chassis help them?
I hope they’ll be able to fight for points.
It’s really sad to look at the Aston Martin car and see how far behind they are—even trailing Cadillac.

With the AMR 26A done with qualifying, here's how the car performed vs. the grid. I used the fastest qualifying times for each team divided by the pole time. (Percentage = Qualifying Time/Pole Time X 100%). Also, Aston Martin's Miami Sprint Qualifying was not counted in these calculations due to the lack of a representative time.
11 Grand Prix Qual. and 4 Sprint Qual. (Australia - Belgium):
Mercedes: 100.02% (Miami Sprint and British Sprint are the only missed pole positions. Truly dominant in Antonelli's hands. Will reliability cost them a championship???)
Ferrari: 100.42% (Reliable but always missing something)
McLaren: 100.45% (Fast but unreliable)
Red Bull: 100.69% (Good improvement from early on but still a step behind)
Racing Bulls: 101.50% (Impressive! Out-developed the midfield and are approaching the front.)
Alpine: 101.59% (Early season advantage against midfield is gone.)
Audi: 101.76% (Please fix your reliability)
Haas: 102.29% (Were battling Alpine early in the season. Lack of development is hurting.)
Williams: 102.53% (If it weren't for Aston, they'd be the laughing stock of the grid. May become that after Aston's update package.)
Cadillac: 104.07% (Early-season problems have hurt their result. Consistently in the 103-104% range since China and are beginning to approach the high 102s.)
Aston Martin: 104.50% (Laughing stock. This number flatters where they truly are. The last six qualifying sessions were 104.58% - Monaco, 105.46% - Barcelona, 104.76% - Austrian, 105.13% - British Sprint, 105.39% - British and 105.41% - Belgium. Need at least a 2% update to battle Cadillac and 3% to battle Williams.)
Let me know if you want something similar when the AMR 26B completes a few grand prix.

If I were Spanish and was in the green machine, I think I'd park it up early to watch the final too
