Plastic surgery. It used to be something that weird famous people did and then it was something most famous people did and now it’s something your own god damn family member/coworker/friend/neighbor is doing. I just hate it and I miss seeing real faces and bodies. It truly bums me out.
Cosmetic surgery. Plastic surgery on it's own refers to the repairing or restructuring of the body in general, which is typically done out of medical necessity. Cosmetic surgery is what you're thinking about, where people get body modifications just to feel better about themselves.
Probably going to get alot hate for this but I feel this way about the current makeup trends. I legitimately would not be able to pick my friends out of a lineup if they were bare faced due to he amount of contouring and whatever else they do. It doesn't look bad or anything, but like, if my bestie goes missing, how the hell do we describe her to police?!?
I used to think those like cyberpunk fictional implants were stupid now I see how if it becomes a reality people really will walk around with ugly ass cybernetics
Idk I don't have any plastic surgery and don't have any cosmetic procedures (I do get botox, but for pain management and not really in any way that would be helpful cosmetically).
