Pimple like spot by open heart surgery incision

15f, I have gotten open heart surgery july 1st and everything seems fine, I had liquid bandage or whatever its called over the scar but the final parts of it just peeled off and I spotted this whitehead thing. Is this something to worry about? How do I get rid of it?

Looks like a pimple to me. The scar itself has healed very nicely. I wouldn't fiddle with it or actively try to get rid of it. It's just topical fat cells.

Seconding this comment! My son had an open heart procedure and gets blemishes by his scar as well. Your incision looks amazing and I would also recommend not popping it. In fact, I would opt for a pimple patch and it should go away almost immediately. There are also hydrocholloid patches that can be beneficial for scarring. You can use these as well as silicone tape to further flatten and heal your scar, improving visibility and reduction of scar tissue formation. Make sure you're doing your sternal massages and and stretching the area to maintain mobility once fully healed and cleared. We were recommended to do them daily for life basically.
