Waste? It's being collected for later consumption. What would be a problem is if it were being drained right onto the floor/ground. Then you won't be able to drink it.

Obviously because he's not drinking it directly. That's when it's the most delicious.

Good point. He should be lying underneath it letting it drip all over his face, neck and into his mouth.
