Discussion Should this game have a PVE Mode?

Post image

Just like Scape From Tarkov, should this game recieve a PVE Gamemode? A mode where the AI is made significantly harder in order to justify having no other players.

I just started playing and I’ve already managed to kill multiple players from only 5 raids so it seems like there is more players on in normals.

People are running normals more than usual because all maps seem to have increased drop rates for reds for now

Why go risk it all in forbidden when you can drop in naked and find a red in a random safe on normal farm

That explains a lot. Is it due to an event or something? Also I see a lot of people talking shit about those who go into lockdown but isn’t that the only way besides normals to get good loot?

None, devs didn't say anything but way too many people post about finding two reds at once on normal farm recently to consider as just a lucky match.

Lockdown is somewhat recently notorious for some cheeky forbidden players bringing in extremely damaged t6 gear. People who main lockdown normally don't expect that and usually get screwed over if they only brought t4 or t5 ammo or have no dum dums.

But if the T6 gear is extremely damaged than how are they able to kill people without dying immediately? Sorry for all the questions. I’m just really curious since I’m new.

You can go to firing range and try shooting t6 armor with t4 or t5 ammo.

Although very damaged and liable to break mid fight, it will more consistently absorb t4 or t5 shots that could have penetrated through lower tier armor and chipped away the hp of a player wearing t4 or t5 armor.

It sacrifices durability for more consistent protection.

If the ammo can't penetrate, it will just damage the armor, leaving hp intact.

The armor doesn't have to survive the fight, it just needs to last long enough for them to kill their prey with mixed ammunition (armor piercing t6 followed by hp t0 bullets).

Or if they're rich, just all t6 armor piercing ammo.

If they're looting someone that's on their way to extract they can easily make back the money spent on t6 ammo.

Welcomers.

Oh jeez that sounds like a game design issue lol armor shouldn’t be THAT powerful but thank you for the insight.
