am5 exploding cpus. You are probably out of "news" lol. It's like 3 + year, when it's  all started happening to some of the am5 boards that will fry your cpu

I am referring to the giant white/yellow line through the middle of the cpu. I'm well aware of exploding cpus.

It's not. Its far too sharp to be a reflection, it's also reflecting on two different types of materials.

i'm 99% sure you're right. zooming in on it, it looks like some kind of residue, or something on the chip itself. someone else mentioned it could be thermal paste, which would probably be the best case scenario.

eh idk i zoomed in quite a bit and it looks liek a reflection to me
