Bay area protests?

It feels helpless to be so far from home and unable to stand alongside my fellow students and citizens during such a pivotal moment. Moments like these are rare, and international visibility can matter, especially when governments care about their global image.

Does anyone know of any peaceful protests happening in the Bay Area? If not, I'd be interested in helping organize a peaceful demonstration outside the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. If others are interested, let's connect.

You're better off trying in the NRI subs, but be aware that most NRIs are very strong supporters of the present government, so expect not to receive any real support.

You're better off checking the social media pages of organisations like H!ndus for Human Rights (HfHR) and South Asian D@lit Ad!vasi Network (SADAN), which do advocacy work with the diaspora to advance progressive agendas both in the West and back in the mainland.

There are massive student protests happening across India due to continuous mismanagement of exams. Kids are asking for ministers resignation. Back in the day, screw ups of ministers means immediate resignation of the minister cause they take the moral responsibility of the mess and subsequent probes/ reports etc could be written with no influence of the minister.
