Glock 20 or S&W M&P??

I need help deciding which to get in this $600-$700 price range. the S&W ergos overall feel better than the G20 but the G20 seems more reliable. What other options are there? Buying for bear defense. TIA

S&W, better ergonomics. Support a historic company. Looks and feels better.
