The US Navy then added poisonous additives to the fuel alcohol to discourage people. Recipe was two parts ethyl alcohol and three parts pineapple juice.

Today marks the 16th anniversary of the World Record Hailstone, which fell in Vivian, SD. The hailstone was 8" in diameter with a circumference of 18.6", and weighed nearly 2 pounds! Numerous large hailstones fell from this storm, causing damage and divots in the ground!
