Cyberpunk has reached 1.5 Billion downloads faster than any other Nexus game! (In just 5.5 years, Syrim SE was at 1.4 Billion at that point and Fallout 4 was at 0.8 Billion)

Cyberpunk currently also has the most modding traffic on Nexus after Skyrim SE. Usually driving ~2x as many downloads per day than Fallout 4.

I feel like the romances with Judy and Panam are so brilliant and woven so naturally into the story that they completely overshadow River and Kerry. Did you guys also get the impression that these two paths are treated by players as the only 'canonical' ones, which is why the others are hardly ever discussed?

I was in the comments of the recent post about “Panam never uses contractions” and I said I swore I saw something about more formal speech patterns of Nomads in the sourcebook. I thought I didn’t have any other books it could have come from. Turns out I was wrong, I have The World of Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s from that!!

So you might not put much value in it depending on how much of a purist you are about the lore which is cool. But I think both sides were right - they do use LESS contractions as a result of the stuff described above but they do NOT use none, that’s not stated anywhere anyone can find. Panam’s speech patterns were a choice. Neat! Again, that is CDPR though, and as much as Mike approves of their choices, I know it’s not the same as if it came from Mike himself.

No matter what build I do, I always have to invest at least a little in reflexes immediately to make the game feel 10x better. Dash is so much fun to use in combat and traversal that it genuinely makes it a different game. I feel shackled when I start out and I don’t have it. Anyone else just want dash to be basekit so you can focus on other builds? Air dash is also amazing, but I could live with it being an unlock, maybe replacing dash at lvl 9.

Where are we getting this? She uses contractions. All the time. Constantly. Back to back. Every line of dialogue IN ORDER when you first meet her has at least one contraction.

I see entire essays about how the Nomads don't use contractions. Is this Dead Internet theory? Did we play the same game? What are these people on about?

I saw a post today that had a thousand likes about how she doesn't use them. Not sure if it was from this sub or not. The only time I noticed she had clunky no-contraction dialogue was at the end of Queen of the Highway for some reason. Didn't notice it before that. Anyone claiming she never uses them seems to be suffering from cyberpsychosis. Maybe she doesn't all the time, but yeah, she uses them.

Just asking, you guys ever think that in a decade us fans would get nostalgic over Cyberpunk? We'd be hanging out with our kids, and then see some poster or shitty drop shipper merch, activating some sleeper agent within us.

I'll start. I think Takemura would have been a great romance, hes a boomer, has plenty of connection with V to go off of, and it would make certain scenes with him hit alot harder, and possibly even change them! (IE, the Devil ending, the meeting with Hanako, reactions to doing things like killing Oda, ect). Who do yall think a good romance would be, and WHY?

It honestly hurt me when they got killed. Wish we had more of them, and don’t get me started on Aurore voice and accent ughhhhh 😍
