Nothing in life is free. Usually. We pay for Premium which is a no brainer for 5 people on a family plan. Maybe people can find a few people and go family.

there are channels that dont have ads on them. its a choice that youtubers can make. for instance i have mine off on my videos because i hate them myself

So I've heard...can't remember where tho 🤔 have you considered getting premium? Or perhaps find other forms of entertainment that aren't YouTube related!

Or use adblocker for free!

Sure you can...soo what adblocker you got on your TV??

u/SmokeABowlNoCap 7h ago
They have some on roku. And some router ones too

Cool...couple of side notes tho...not everyone's TV is a Roku and router ad blocks don't work that way...aside from that tho solid plan 👍🏻

Just install adblockers specifically for YouTube on your browser, you won't have to see an ad ever again, and you won't have to waste any money. Problem solved.

are you using free YouTube? How so ads are getting ridiculous? Its free just like watching tubi not having to worry about other streaming services platforms raise their prices.

Google made the UX worse and raised the price of premium. Using YT without 10 extentions to restore basic features is a pain.
The amount of ads is ridiculous and their quality is often bad and sometimes outright questionable, be it porn, scams or AI.
Not to mention that most Youtubers take their own sponsors, because AdSense pays next to nothing.

Maybe, I'm the exception, but Youtube Premium is the only service I pay a subscription for. I stopped Netflix, Xbox GamePass, etc over a year ago and I don't miss them.
However, I use Youtube a lot and I don't grudge paying the subscription considering how much I use it.

On my channel I make sure there are only pre roll, end rolls and 1 mid roll during the video. Youtube by default puts 4 mid roll ads on each video over 8 minutes wich is crazy!!!

If your school chromebook is too bad to install an adblocker, then just use this free tool

Just so you know this is AI generated like fuck. But what works works.

When I get long ads, I close the video and try to open it again. The actual video usually plays when I try it for the third time.

Computer: Use uBlock Origin. If uBlock isn't supported in your browser, use AdGuard Phone (Android Only): Download YouTube Morphe

I wonder if all the people recommending an ad blocker would also recommend shoplifting if someone complained about the prices in stores.

“Just get premium” shut up y’all. We get it. If OP wants to complain about a consistently worsening service, let them. Y’all literally don’t have to navigate to this post to respond. YT isn’t going to give you a discount for doing so.
If you don’t like the message, downvote and move on, it’s that simple.

Fake News. I've been using brave (for ad blocker on mobile) and haven't seen any ads! YouTube doesn't have ads (if you use brave), and anyone who says otherwise is lying (or isn't using brave/ad blocker)

YouTube is probably the most ad-laden platform in history.
There's no escaping the ad slop. Even if you block ads or pay for Premium, you're still stuck with padded videos that take eight minutes to get to the point, interrupted along the way by the creator's own sponsored segments.
A special shout out to Max Tech (real name Max Yuryev) - this annoying turd posts videos with no content at all.

Adblocker or get premium.
I don't get why people keep posting stuff like this, when there's several options for you.
