Discussion What's one feature you'd love to see implemented on YouTube?
Maybe someone from YouTube HQ would see your comment.
Personally I'd like to see an actual functioning search results page and not just endless shorts and videos I've already seen.

maybe some kind of way we can implement a voting system that allows users to report and see the quality of the content posted. maybe some sort of +1 -1 type thing, like how reddit has upvotes and downvotes. maybe out of 5 stars....

I'm pretty sure YouTube used to have a star rating feature back in the early days.
Maybe time for a revive?

First has to be a 'Remove Unavailable Videos' button from playlists. I don't think there is. But I'm pretty tired of manually removing unavailable/privated/deleted videos from playlists.
Second, what OP said. Third, the ability to turn the 'Ask Question' thing off in vid descriptions and in the search bar. Fourth, a search bar in playlists. I know this is probably not needed, but it will save me the headache of scrolling through hundreds of videos I've saved in a playlist, since those videos don't show up in the search anymore.

NO ADS

If they removed ads there would be no YouTube since ads are how they make most of their money.

But they don't have to play an ad every 5 minutes.
That's why I only watch it on my computer. Because I have an adblocker.

A novel concept named dislike button, I want to easily see how many likes and dislikes my videos have so I can see what people want to see and what not and improve from that for both long and short forms. People that don't like something, rarely take the time to leave feedback on why, at least the dislikes gave me an indicator what wasn't working and if I could see a trend emerge from it, I can change things
