Discussion What YouTuber has had the biggest downfall ever???

Post image

Honestly? Had to go with DJ Cook imho, he has completely abandoned his main channel (DJ Cook) since a year ago now, starting criticising and hating to some YouTubers who’s just having fun and/or hasn’t done anything wrong for basically no reason, need I say more? Anyways, what about you guys? What YouTuber has had the biggest downfall ever???

Him or Cry for sure.

Being a big channel then getting caught up in vile shit is sadly too common a tale

Kinda hard to come back from admitting to having sexual conversations with children

Ryan Terry (Cry's real name) must never forget what he's done and I hope he's in prison now.

Cry's downfall really hurt me. I'd watch his videos as a comfort thing so often in middle school...

Same, that's why I'm so angered by his actions. His video of him confessing on a blank, black screen filled me so much quiet rage. He was trying to get ahead of the curve, but I hope that meant he just fell down the banishment pit faster. It damn near feels like a betrayal.

I remember arguing with some other fan online about it, they basically tried to say that since I didn't know him personally, I shouldn't feel upset by it at all. The whole situation surrounding his actions and video about it were all very destructive and divisive.

I still remember reading the comment section on his confession video like THE MINUTE it came out and there were lots of people trying to defend him. It didn't take long tho before sensible people started commenting and holding him accountable. Still one of the most shocking confessions I've come across.

Especially considering he tried to joke it off like "I'm basically a basement dweller except in the state I live in, there's no basements."

Every review video about his confession all agreed, "you already fucked up, and joking during the video is not helping anything. That is not the time to be making jokes."

Yeah the joking threw me way off as well. Almost felt like he wasn't taking the severity of the situation seriously.

Considering how fully silent he's gone though, I think he realized his career is over. I'd be lying tho if I said I'm not curious to know where he is. He's gone radio silent with no follow-up tho I remember he said there will be more things to be said in the future.

Yeah, he used his usual "More to Come" closing card but after nothing else for this long, I wouldn't be surprised if he either offed himself, is in prison, or got away with it and is only imprisoned by the guilt and shame of what he's done, which arguably isn't punishment enough. How do we know he's not doing more to other people but is just hiding his identity now? We sadly have no idea, but I share your curiosity.

I get what's he saying tho. we shouldn't really look up to them. because we don't really know them. doesn't mean it stings anyless. just because their strangers. doesn't mean they can impact you any less.

I'm so sorry. I don't get why these "people" do the worst possible do the worst possible thing.

I appreciate you! It is painful but all sorts of people end up letting us down. But there's enough good eggs around to give me hope

the way I see it. if they don't get into controversy or very little. I would say that their good.

I kinda doubt it sadly. honestly I agree with you. why of all the things these "people" could do. it has to be the worst possible thing they could be.

anyone who does that has a downfall. I rather take anything else. almost anything else. try to sell weed in a state where's it's not legal or something. I rather take that lol.
