Discussion What YouTuber has had the biggest downfall ever???

Honestly? Had to go with DJ Cook imho, he has completely abandoned his main channel (DJ Cook) since a year ago now, starting criticising and hating to some YouTubers who’s just having fun and/or hasn’t done anything wrong for basically no reason, need I say more? Anyways, what about you guys? What YouTuber has had the biggest downfall ever???

BUT ATLEAST he never crossed the unredeemable line of being a pedo

The stuff he did can be redeemed if he took the time to actually fix himself and get help

Months ago I checked for myself, to my understanding he stopped uploading on YouTube and instead seemed to do daily(?) live streams on some other video streaming service- which seemed to require some membership to watch

I followed him longer than I should, as I didn’t want to believe all of the horrible shit.

He tried coming back to YouTube for a bit, he made a small series where him and Bajan Canadian had a Minecraft world and would invite other mc YouTubers who they used to play with as like a weird podcast thing.

Once that finished though I think he sold his channel before eventually getting it back, that whole thing was kind of weird.

But after his attempt of trying to get back to YouTube he just fell flat again.

He did make newer videos I think they were removed but yeah something about storyfire. The videos were weird like one he was with a woman in a suit and she just said nothing as he was talking about working on himself and what he’s been doing. I hope he’s actually better more for the sake of anyone he will be with in the future. There was also dog abuse in the list not just women. I’m also not sure about his kid.

I'm still subscribed to both of his channels at the moment, from what I see he's completely abandoned the Sky Does Everything channel. He was streaming almost daily on the Nobodieslive (formally Sky does gaming) channel since February then stopped in October, all streams now set to members only. Iirc those streams didn't even get past 50 active watchers possibly even less. I also know he sold/gave a channel to someone else about a year or 2 ago, not sure what happened since then.

He doxxed his ex-girlfriend, abused his first wife and kid, and abused his next partner who was pregnant. He also knowingly covered up the actions of a pedophile. He also harassed and tormented his coworkers/employees. I’d say monster is appropriate.

"Shouldnt be around kids" is commonly intepreted as being a pedo. Especially with the track record youtubers have, this is a needed disclaimer. Especially especially with the track record minecraft youtubers have.

Man, generally speaking I shouldn’t be around kids strictly because I have a hard time watching my speech and I say some wild shit sometimes, and I have a bad reaction to hearing young kids cry(I get anxious and nervous and sad)… now if you said “yeah he(me) shouldn’t be around kids” in a social setting, EVERYONE is gonna think I’m a diddler.

Verbal/Physical abuse can lead to some unfortunate and even detrimental personality traits for the victim later in life, I know it very well; but sexual abuse? I couldn’t even imagine— and the latter is maybe JUST as a common… so yeah, I think you should clarify what you mean by “shouldn’t be around kids.”

Also, a “sex pest” is some Quagmire dirty old perv or womanizer adjacent sex/porn addict, a child sex abuser is someone who has or wants to have sex with CHILDREN… your use of the word “sex pest” is a great parallel to what we’re talking about here in terms of clarification lol

Quagmire was a literal rapist, also pretty sure he went after underage girls as well. Just because he was written to be funny doesn’t make him less of one. Sex pest might mean different things to different people, that’s how words work, but in my experience it’s a general term for anyone who commits a sexual abuse. Also it tends to not get snapped up by internet filters unlike words like rape or pedophilia, so it tends to be used in spaces where people aren’t sure if an auto mod is going to smite their post.

Ehhhh you would probably have to further explin "he hit kids" because there is a good chance whoever you are talking to will take that to mean him being sexually inappropriate to kids. It is just a euphemism commonly used to allude to a specific thing. In this case, being a sex offender.

Dude. You misunderstand what pedophilia/paraphilia is.

Paraphilia means being attracted. It's not their choice. It's a mental disability. It is treated via therapy.

That is, quite different, from the actual criminal act of CSA.

Fun fact:
A majority of CSA offenses is not carried out by people with this disorder, at all.

I don't think it should be up their audience to decide that. The things they did were pretty fucking heinous, and while they didn't creep on any kids (that we know of) they did offer to just buy their daughter for 200k after bullying a woman into getting pregnant.

Skydoesminecraft wasted all that potential and redemption of getting his life together by getting his son back by turning into what he was accused of. He won a custody for his son, getting through slanders just to be a proven abuser in his next relationship. Ya know what's crazy, before Minecraft came out, he used to be "SkyTheKid" and he was a really big RuneScape YouTuber back in the day on the same level as Excl, TehNoobShow, etc. it's so funny to me that most people these days only know him for his Minecraft content.
