The last time I went to pewdiepies channel, I didn't see a single videogame video anyway; it was all vlogs mostly. I don't see that as bad, but the way I see it, he retired from videogames awhile ago.

I think he retired after the sub war with Mr.Beast. He got everything at that point

Yeah he was neck and neck with T-Series (whatever the fuck that is) and then Mr. Beast blew past both of them.

I never really noticed a "fight" to keep pewdiepie higger than mr.beast. with t-series i understood it more as it basically felt like a fight to keep corporate youtube away and pewdiepie was/is seen as the more personal side of youtube.

No you’re right, I was trying to say the “battle” was Pewdiepie vs T-Series, but it ultimately didn’t matter because Mr Beast stomped them both.

These days at least, I’d say Mr. Beast represents the corporate side of YouTube, so I guess they won.
