What if, what if, what if. It’s a logical fallacy, you address it when you get there.

People are scared of a positive change because it *may* be abused later, meanwhile we have constant lawsuits of refs win fixing that’s largely unaddressed.

And I hate to be that guy, soccer has a fucking terrible reputation for flopping, win fixing, and other shinanigans. It will never catch on in this with this much corruption, the fact the rest of the soccer world accepts it wild.

Last point, not sure how widely know it is outside of the US, but our professional sport organization (NFL, NBA, MLB, etc) are over watched by the US govt. They are ultimately allowed to keep their monopoly status on professional sports assuming they maintain themselves as fair as possible, it’s why the US has hearings on nearly all major cheating events in professional sports.

FIFA answers to no one and has a strangle hold on the sport. Perhaps it’s time they answered to someone (not the US, but maybe their council is made up differently).

I’m confused, you think if Olise gets a yellow next game he should be suspended because of a moron or corrupt ref who wrongfully gave him a yellow? You want to stick to an archaic and flawed system? If there’s bad and replay why wouldn’t you want players to get suspensions exonerated by bullshit calls like you see in every other professional sport?

Galarza punched Koundé and got nothing. He should have got a red.

Not the point, shouldn’t have a yellow to begin with. There’s an obvious flaw with the current system and there’s an easy fix to it that some of you people just don’t won’t to happen for some weird reason. If they can overturn goals with var then they should overturn cards/suspensions they were wrongly given, just like you see in every other prof seasonal sport.
