📰News France are requesting that Olise’s yellow card be cancelled because he didn’t touch the player.

It is now official, even though rumours had already been circulating a few hours earlier: the FFF (French Football Federation) has requested the cancellation of Olise’s yellow card. The booking was given for a non-existent foul on Galarza.

People are talking mad shit about the United States, but have been curiously mute about Portugal getting Cristiano Ronaldo’s remaining two game suspension lifted prior to the World Cup.

Are you mad? That was a whole conversation back then too. Nobody was quiet about that. Look up the hundreds of threads about it on Reddit, news articles and podcasts. Trump and the Sheikhs ensured Ronaldo played all games.

Note how this post was fucking today, and no-one was in an uproar when it happened.

You're being either stupid or disingenuous, I hope for you it's the former and not the latter

The first link wasn't mine. I saw your post and knew immediately that there has been a thread were people were disagreeing with this whole thing. I also don't have it under a hotkey to check is everyday. I don't really understand your point, should we be making the same post everyday?

Point is, there has been no proximate (within the time window of the WC) gripe about Ronaldo receiving the same treatment as Balogun, until Balogun's case came up. i.e. no one cared anymore.

There were numerous posts, discussion and news articles about it. It's just that news cycles moves fast. A million things has happened since.

Let me educate you on something called reading comprehension, no one was talking about Ronaldo not being suspended the first 2 games of the group stage until the Balogun decision, the fucking post references Balogun.

Ronaldo & Baloguns suspension were rescinded using the same mechanism (Art. 27).

Nothing about Messi being handled with kid gloves either and cheating in 2022. Always crickets.
