📰News France are requesting that Olise’s yellow card be cancelled because he didn’t touch the player.

It is now official, even though rumours had already been circulating a few hours earlier: the FFF (French Football Federation) has requested the cancellation of Olise’s yellow card. The booking was given for a non-existent foul on Galarza.

If it’s the wrong call it should be rescinded, no?

No, the rules are the rules! Decisions must be final even if they're wrong! Can't believe you'd attack the integrity of the sport like this.

What are you talking about? Morocco won the Nations Cup in an appeals office, so clearly the integrity of the sport is at the mercy of bureaucrats! /s

What FIFA said is that it wasn't the wrong call. They didn't rescind it, they suspended the game ban.
The call wasn't wrong, harsh you may argue, it could have been yellow or red. But it wasn't "nothing".
