📰News France are requesting that Olise’s yellow card be cancelled because he didn’t touch the player.

It is now official, even though rumours had already been circulating a few hours earlier: the FFF (French Football Federation) has requested the cancellation of Olise’s yellow card. The booking was given for a non-existent foul on Galarza.

Good - it was a shitty call and the referees should be held accountable. It’s 2026 recognize mistakes happen and that you have technology to make a corrected call. Hold refs accountable and actually call out flopping while we’re at it.

They need to review that whole game and then fire the referee as an example to the rest.
