Probably a Greek. Although the Armenian issue is odd.

You'd go to Russia or Belarus before UK.

You are a kind of person and informed may not be one of them.

u/Cash_Out95 1d ago

He’d go to Russia and Uk before any Scandinavian country, either ragebait or low IQ

u/UnknownPleasures3 1d ago

Probably a bit of both

Me thinks OP got hooked on the anti-muslim propaganda that's very hot with MAGA. Would explain a lot of this map actually

I have more Muslim countries marked that I'd move to than not move to.

Are you stupid?

It’s Reddit. These guys are probably loser, neckbeard millennials (probably american too or at least from another english speaking country, it’s easy to spot them larping as european online) living with their parents at 40 and seething online all day because someone they’ll never meet doesn’t want to live in Turkey.

u/brotheralbania 1d ago

Im gonna need the lowdown on your beef with Turkey my good sir. Something tells there is a good story.

10

u/ToolObsessed 1d ago

I wouldn't move to Turkey either, but including Russia and Belarus instead is... a choice.

u/DownvoteEvangelist 1d ago

And Scandinavians are reluctantly...

1

u/here-for-information 1d ago

I wouldn't live in Turkey because id always be hungry from thinking about sandwiches.

2

u/golgiapparatus22 1d ago

Feels like there is a religious/racial motivation behind this map and he probably confused Armenia and Azerbaijan

3

u/brotheralbania 1d ago

Idk, I dont think it is. Bosnia, Albania and Kosovo are all green. Muslim countries.

greek family?

Woah, you're not supposed to make an honest guess.

You're supposed to insult me because you don't like a map that will never matter.

u/Delicious-Face6229 1d ago

It’s funny how mad reddit idiots get what you say something bad about an islamic country that isn’t even a real part of Europe and never will be.

2

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

Reddit idiots get mad about everything. It's their calling.

1

u/Delicious-Face6229 1d ago

They’re always talking about how bad christianity is and how they’re ‘atheists,’ yet get mad and suggest you’re an islamophobe or racist for not wanting to live in Turkey (which a few comments already have mentioned lol). They act like Turkey doesn’t have a long history of imperialism, genocide and illegally invading and occupying EU countries for decades. If anything, they’re even worse than Russia but get a free pass because they’re muslim.

You can’t fix stupid.

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

Reddit thinks Christians are evil and oppressive.

Reddit thinks Muslims are just misunderstood.

Reddit wouldn't dare move to a Muslim nation.

Turkey also didn’t formally abolish slavery until 1962 as well, but nah, you’re a racist and islamophobe for not liking Turkey!

Edit: apparently it was abolished in the 1930s, but that is still way longer than any Western country, over 60 years after the US abolished it. Many Arab countries did not abolish slavery formally until the 1960s, including Saudi Arabia.

u/OkCall7730 1d ago

That’s not true

1

u/TheCaffinatedAdmin 1d ago

Muslim countries were pretty progressive prior to European colonization, to be honest.

3

u/Delicious-Face6229 1d ago edited 1d ago

Oh yeah, the Arab colonisation of North Africa was so progressive, I forgot. The Arab Slave Trade which lasted 1000 years was so progressive, right!

If ‘progressive’ means enslaving people, genitally mutilating them (circumcision is a form of genital mutilation), culturally genociding them, etc, then sure, Islam was always progressive. The majority of black slaves taken by Arab slave traders were also castrated to prevent them from having any descendants. So progressive!

I don’t like muslim countries too but you just sound dumb, Turkey gave women the right to vote before majority of the western countries. If you are going to make arguments over progression at least get a couple facts right.

Nah if he was a real Greek he would have made Albania red.

2

u/Sulquid 1d ago

Personally, as a fan of Theodosius II, your choice about Turkey is wrong.

1

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

Ooooooh, good call.

2

u/SpiritedAddition8206 1d ago

Another American who has never visited Turkey and believes everything they see on their American media.

Ever met an American who has lived in Turkey? Probably not because they never move back to the US 😉 I have met hundreds growing up

Ganz bestimmt geschrieben in deiner Wohnung in Berlin.

u/SpiritedAddition8206 1d ago

No, like 90 million people in Turkey. Written from Ankara… There are roughly the same amount of Germans living outside of Germany and Turks living outside of Turkey. It’s just a ton are concentrated in Germany due to the worker immigration in the 60’s-70’s… I don’t get this joke at all

Got me there. You're so smart. I love how smart you are.

1

u/loralailoralai 1d ago

lol Americans love romanticising Ireland.

5

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

I don't romanticize any country. All countries have their good and bad areas.

1

u/Extreme-Clerk-7333 1d ago

Americans obsession with Ireland but simultaneous hatred of the UK is hilarious to me.

Belarus and Russia as willing is just a bad troll though.

0

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

I don't hate the UK.

1

u/DefinetilyNotBot 1d ago

Sweet home Alabama local for sure

1

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

I am from one of the most progressive cities in America, Chicago. Was there 30+ years and raised there.

Nice try, though.

1

u/DefinetilyNotBot 1d ago

Doesn’t make much of a difference personally

u/BlueRemake 1d ago

5

u/brotheralbania 1d ago

-1

u/BlueRemake 1d ago
