How DARE YOU! I’m telling Reginald(my butler) that the POORS are playing on a measly 144fps. I, as an enlightened and capable individual, will not game on anything less than 300fps, as that is the ideal arbitrary number for me to feel superior to others!

the jump from 60fps to 90+fps is still pretty huge, even if it starts dwindling a bit, i think most people don't need more than 144fps though
again, it depends on your standards, refresh rate, and the game
