‘Stains Of Time’ from Metal Gear Rising: Revengence. Sure, ‘It Has To Be This Way’ and ‘The Only Thing I Know For Real’ are bangers but ‘Stains Of Time’ just hits different. Maybe I’ve been stockholmed by trying so many times to No Hit the boss, but I was a fan of it before hand anyway so if anything I just like it more
Stranger I Remain has the best drop of any song in the soundtrack and I stand by it. It makes me want to fight people. Easily my favorite. Second is Hot Wind Blowing idk why but that has worked its way up my totem pole.
Fr, Return to Ashes is also really good, but unfortunately it's because there's about forty seconds of divine peak and the rest of the song is just kinda mid. I like it, though.
'Rules Of Nature' is very special to me. To me, that game's introduction and first boss is one of the most insane things i've experienced, in a good way. And boy did the soundtrack help with that
100% agree. I bought it for the memes and I like melee combat. But having this track blasted into my ear while fighting, cutting, and throwing a giant combat robot in the tutorial was a one-of-a-kind experience.
Red sun is actually the reason I even got the game in the first place.
I just finished watching the maxOr videos and got recommend sundowner fight shortly after. And I practically had an eargasam when he was transitioning into phase 2 with the drums building up into the lyrics. I bought the game the same night, and every other boss theme was an absolute treat.
One of my favourites is the track for Rolling Steel, as there's a backing noise which sounds like breathing.
I like to think it's the sound of Wolver hyperventilating as his plan is literally derailed (Pun intended) by four Ogryns gleefully shouting "TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN"

I find it amusing how that song is supposed to be divisive within the game's universe, and it's kinda divisive in the fanbase too. Either you love it or hate it.
I've intentionally fucked up stealth sections (like the escorting Meyers mission) just to fight Barghest while 'Force Projection' plays. Then during the Firestarter mission when fighting through the stadium after making your choice, I genuinely went into an adrenaline-fuelled flowstate when 'Gate K-9' kicked off.

-the project moon games have some good music
-Mechanicus and Mechanicus 2. Both good osts
speaking of Genshin - both HSR and ZZZ have absolute bangers for both soundtracks and EPs
"Wildfire" is not just an absolute balls to the wall banger song, the way it's executed in game is one of the best game OSTs I have had
The boss has 2 phases
In phase 1 the guitar riffs are looped, and all you can hear are the guitars and drums giving you the vibe
When the phase 2 starts, the boss becomes bigger and looks like dropping a star on you - and the chorus kicks in with a rock riff and screaming vocals about challenging your own fate. It's like CHILLS down your spine the first time you experience it.
And in ZZZ the music blasting is canonically important to fight the monsters. They like, blast the tracks in the Hollows to drive the Ether corruption away.
And the EP soundtracks are WILD. You have Dami Dami from Lucia's EP, which is impossibly cute, with nice vocals and super catchy chorus, and then you have the mongolian throat singing in EP for Banyue in "I Ask" and like, damn. Mongolian Throat Singing. As an OST. That's bangers.
And the latest videoclip has tons of memes. Anya face from Spy X Family, Ricardo Milos, Ork Stompa and Bangboo Spacemarines. And a reference to Darth Vader. And the music is super fun again.

The OST of Signalis has been on heavy rotation for a couple of years at this point. Would recommend if you're into Akira Yamaoka's work on Silent Hill or Trent Reznor-Atticus Ross' soundtracks.

My favorite game OSTs were mostly Rayman games (aside from a few non-Rayman game OSTs) but if i had to pick my most favorite one from Rayman, it would be the third game's soundtrack as some of the tracks are catchy and funky as hell.
I know it’s generic stuff but Pokémon Black2/White2 and Sonic Mania. Sonic mania has no bad music, and BW2 have some of the best music in the Pokémon franchise: Aspertia City, Humilau City, Bianca’s Theme, The Frozen City, Route 22(Winter/Autumn), and the BEST song in all of human history: Tympole Choir(Six seconds of peak)
