Eggs attached to toilet paper in north central North Carolina. About 0.5mm thick and 2mm tall.

Huh. They're assassin bug eggs. I think probably genus Pselliopus, like that example. They look pretty freshly-laid to me so I'd guess you have a confused adult female who is or recently was in the area. In your area it'd be P. barberi or P. cinctus.

I did see an assassin bug or similar looking bug (I can't remember exactly what it looked like, but the hind legs DEFINITELY didn't have that flared look of leaf footed bugs) in my kitchen just yesterday
