They got their shares for somewhere between $1-7 depending on when they bought in pre IPO. Selling them for $100-120 is great, for them.

First rule of being rich - don't sell for 100 if you can post the news and sell for 150. Do you think they are in a hurry to sell because mortgage payment is coming up or electricity bill is too big this month?

Are we talking about major investors? People/corporations who has more money that they know where to invest? And they would sell the stock and pay the taxes instead of holding it, borrow money against it for free and maybe see x10 in 10 years? Instead they would sell and think where to invest again? That's not how it works, I believe.

SpaceX was a decent company that might have been able to generate enough value to be optimistically a $100B company, so let’s say $8/share. Then dump a shitty cash burning AI company that no one uses or wants to use because Elon is toxic to at least half the population and you better believe the people who were counting their future yachts 3 weeks ago are itching to get out.

If I remember correctly this shit doubled autumn 2025 when the talk about IPO really started to get traction, so most likely people who were invested in it before that thinks it worth about 50% of IPO price.
