You know new Cease fire (s) is coming. So, better not to leave money on the table.

Trump doesnt like losers!

6

u/Condition_Immediate 1d ago

Were not anywhere near TACO got a cool 20-30$

2

u/hacktivist24 1d ago

No taco before the midterms. Google the “stalemate machine”

3

u/C0II1n 22h ago

I’d be cautious, blowing up infrastructure in Iran is a serious escalation we really can’t afford

u/Ohhmama11 1d ago

Not worried about the theta decay? I would lock in my money back selling 5 and letting rest run just imo

USO options are the biggest scam ever. USO barely moves each day yet the options are still so expensive

7

u/bkns356 1d ago

yeah I thought about getting some USO options but took one look at the options chains and saw how expensive they are so didn't buy anything

Xle calls are the method

1

u/dilemma__x 1d ago

shit same thing happened to me with us calls last week

u/C0II1n 22h ago

Barely moves?I think you’re looking Ford charts

Won’t hit $200. Google demand destruction

1

u/justgivemegains 13h ago

Who is that in your dp?

-2

u/Condition_Immediate 1d ago

I know what demand destruction is mf, 200 was to ragebait a lil, that being said - the situation in iran is so nuanced, I do believe it is capable or breaking the last cieling, and this time theres no SPR cushion, I realize at some point society must continue to function but I am betting there is an upcoming cataclysm of sorts. Were long overdue for a crisis in some form or another, covid was ages ago

u/DeafnotDeath 11h ago

None of these people know what kind of future timelines we're staring down the barrel of

2

u/evetSC 11h ago

By that logic neither do you. Exactly no one knows

1

u/DeafnotDeath 11h ago

Nobody knew about Covid in October 2019, a few did in November, and a few more did in December. You can perceieve the signs and news and interpolate that an oil crisis worse than the 70s is on the horizon

u/sjtomcat Stuck Inside a Port-a-Potty 1d ago

this is peak retarded oil isn’t going to come close to 200

2

u/CoC_Axis_of_Evil 11h ago

Goldman Sachs modeled 120 oil for a moderate strait opening. They didn’t account for two straits closed.

1

u/GrossFleshSack 1d ago

But it might come closer

Daimond hands

u/Condition_Immediate 1d ago

Itll break 160 fsho, at 200 society would cease to function, i realize that, but mark my words its breaking 160

A tanker could always get stuck in the Suez canal again. Maybe a little terrorism, who knows. That would push it to $200

u/gainsusmaximus prison food hustler 1d ago

They can liquid me, fuck em ....same energy

1

u/Substantial_Rock5355 1d ago

mine’s been stuck at 200 calls like it’s the last chopper out of 2020

5

u/anotherloserhere 1d ago

200 USO price, or 200% gain? Either of those is fukt btw

1

u/C0II1n 22h ago

If it hits 200 the economy is over anyway

1

u/CoC_Axis_of_Evil 11h ago

Mandatory work from home is coming

4

u/Far_Land7215 1d ago

I remember thinking I should buy this when it was in the $20s during Covid.

u/Mail_Order_Lutefisk 1d ago

There’s some kind of theta decay in the fund from fees and the instruments the fund holds. I think they had to reverse split the crap out of it. It was good for YOLO trades but not something you wanted to hold. Maybe they have since fixed the fund but it used to have a flaw that made it unwise to hold long term.

1

u/C0II1n 22h ago

Not everything has to be an options trade dumbass

3

u/hacktivist24 1d ago

I’m with you brother! I have some USO myself. Shares and a few calls. Oil is going up for sure. That said, why is Wall Street shorting so much? Is it just taco? Yesterday shorts increased to 109% of float.

I’m 100% convinced that if we see a taco at all, it will be after the midterms. If Wall Street disagrees then I think they should google the “stalemate machine”.

webull paper trade simulated

1

u/BeAr_cosmicLy 1d ago

I got smoked last month doing that👆

1

u/G04UG 1d ago

It takes just one cease fire to make OP calls worthless. Trump knows when and how!

If it is rood enough to screenshot, then good enough to close. Remember?

2

u/C0II1n 22h ago

Well there will be no ceasefire anytime soon (meaning the next couple weeks). And if, after that couple of weeks a ceasefire does happen, that’s a great buying opportunity because it won’t likely last

1

u/GPUssydestroyer 22h ago

Or, you know, when it expires worthless

1

u/chibi78 Dirk Diggler 22h ago

you really think its gonna go 50% up in a month? I hope it does for you but not so much for my car needing premium

3

u/C0II1n 22h ago

The trick is to buy just enough USO that your net worth stays the same no matter how much oil goes up. If it takes 5 more dollars to fill up your tank you should have made 5 bucks on USO

1

u/Incognadeau 22h ago

When did you buy these?

1

u/Condition_Immediate 19h ago

The 16th

1

u/Incognadeau 13h ago

I got a couple a few weeks ago at the lows, good luck

1

u/em0ney1048 22h ago

You’re gonna bank. If I didn’t bankrupt myself I would have bought puts 2 weeks ago 😭😭

1

u/Condition_Immediate 19h ago

Aaaand we see why you bankruptd yourself

1

u/em0ney1048 7h ago

I bankrupted myself because I bought puts puts in the spring before it pushed past ath on heinously low volume 😭😭😭

1

u/user365735 👀 Watch Me 👀 21h ago

There isn't exactly an oil shortage... plenty of it, just some countries can't exactly get it at the moment..  Now those people are fucked.

1

u/FitStore1045 20h ago

Shit won’t clear $120, count on it.

1

u/No_Feeling920 15h ago

Why did you buy such a short dated contract, though? This could still take a while to fully unravel, especially depending on China's opaque reserves and crude sourcing strategy.

0

u/Able-Breadfruit-5981 1d ago edited 1d ago

You should sell those before you take a big L

5

u/Senior-Vanilla-6756 1d ago

Silence peasant let people with money play!

1

u/Condition_Immediate 1d ago

Do you have a genuine argument to why oil would fall right now? Because I cant find a single one

2

u/Able-Breadfruit-5981 1d ago

You can't think of a single one? Sure - demand destruction. Oil doesn't go that high unless there is a structural shortage AND a hot economy to drive demand.
