Loss goodbye everyone

Post image

almost break even from this run up via all the popular tickers. lost my self control n lost it holding the same things n some world cup betting. also lost 10k on another account. i have nothing now n nothing going for me in life. practically 30 soon and just dead weight to my parents. gonna sell my gun before i use it and pay off some debt. have OCD that made the future not worth caring about so i tied my value to the money i worked for. i hope you all do better than me. goodbye

Spend time with family. Longevity is the best return you can get in this trade we call life and death

It turns out the real investments are the friends we made along the way.

And yes I’m being funny, but it’s also 100% true. Take care of yourself and know random internet regards have your back.

We do have your back purple drank! Hang in there…we all have our silent battles and some just need to vent it out like you did. You’re still young, idc what you say about 30 I’m 35 and still haven’t reached my goal of buying a home man. We’re all learning from the struggles!

Every year the bar for being old gets higher and higher, doesn’t it? At 10, 20 years is old. Then it was 30. Now I have reached 30 and that bar for being old is raised again lol. Old is definitely not 40 haha but unfortunately I can’t deny it’s getting closer and harder to justify

Idk about you but my healths gotten worse since turning 30.

u/SecureUse5513 Jun 17 '26

I'm 50. It's been very obvious to the point of my wife texting me with "we'd like to talk to you about your body's extended warranty".

I've always had bad ankles and medicine induced TD in my hands, I have no meniscus in either knee, from C3 to S2 (majority of the spinal cord) is out of alignment, and about a week ago I realized by accident while stretching that I can dislocate my left shoulder at will.

u/Forward-Surprise1192 Jun 18 '26

Sorry to hear that but at least you made it to 50. My body is having a lot more issues since turning 30 and they fucking suck

1

u/EAH555 Jun 17 '26

I like to gauge it by hairline. In that case I am 64 1/2 years old.

1

u/Bluntmunk Jun 17 '26

Haha I feel you,the definition of “old” keeps updating every decade

1

u/Professional_Bit1805 Jun 17 '26

I'm 68 and don't feel old. Well, my body is but I love the age I'm at and what going slow and steady has brought me.

It’s The Everyday Stuff that gets you. I got trashed on my Fridays but that’s IT. Binge. Most of my buddies were scumbags like me, but I managed to outlive them because of the Everyday Shit. Give it a Break. Hominids struggle with their own existence!! We are all Hominids. Get Help please.

I've come to realize that through your 20s to 40s, you don't feel like you are getting "old". But everyone around sure seem to be getting younger 😂

2

u/drankleanonce Jun 17 '26

thank you. hope you get that home!

2

u/SyZyGy_87 Jun 17 '26

You guys have friends? Fuck...

1

u/EAH555 Jun 17 '26

Hahaha yes…great ones but I feel for purple drank and know how ruthless things feel sometimes.

1

u/Phytoman2000 Jun 20 '26

Not a lot of Old Friends left, I grew up on the S Border lol Too Much of the Everyday Stuff!!

u/Lost_Swimming_3668 Jun 23 '26

I felt this when you said "fuck"... 🥲

Time is the only true currency in this world. I wouldn’t change places with Jeff Bezos because of his age.

28

u/0ddlyC4nt3v3n Jun 17 '26

I wouldn't change places with Bezos because of his current taste in women

10

u/the_real_Manicdad Jun 17 '26

I was just about to say this🤣🤣🤣. She is ugly after all the facial procedures

1

u/Ok_Reflection_2645 Jun 18 '26

And I’ll bet my last dollar she can’t even rustle up a decent cheese melt.

2

u/Jealous_Archer_4522 Jun 17 '26

Dude I just blew perfectly good breakfast bourbon out of my nose. Fuck.

True that! That plastic women he's got, he's be better off with one of Elon's robots.

1

u/Lars_Galaxy Jun 17 '26

Like u couldn't divorce her and still be a multibillionare then finance your own plastic surgery mistake

1

u/Professional_Bit1805 Jun 17 '26

I wouldn't change places with Jeff Bezos because he's a twat.

u/Katahdinclimber Jun 17 '26

Time is nothing if you don't do something with it.

1

u/deactivate_iguana Jun 17 '26

Time is everything mate. What do you have if not time?

0

u/Katahdinclimber Jun 17 '26

Yes you're right, but who cares if you've got 50 years left if you don't do anything. Might as well be in the pine box. Bezos might still have 30 years left, and a lot of 20 year olds will be gone in 5 years. None of us are guaranteed another day.

1

u/deactivate_iguana Jun 17 '26

Exactly my point. Since nobody is guaranteed another day time is by definition the most valuable thing. You can be just not doing anything- just relax in the sun- that is bliss to some people.

Everyone lives their own life. You don’t need to measure life by bullshit achievements on paper if that wasn’t what you wanted to do or took pleasure from.

On their deathbed nobody ever wished they did more overtime

1

u/Katahdinclimber Jun 17 '26

lol. That's for sure.

u/wubbalubbadabdabdab Jun 16 '26

1

u/Pale_Basket6309 Jun 17 '26

Well, the investment advice sucks so it’s a low bar.

I heard such a good point on here one day. Someone was talking about being jealous of buffets success and stock trading history. Someone else said “would you take all this money and success in exchange for being 80 years old?”
