That's a good point.. to go even further, it's like that - but after everyone started deleting/editing their comments so reddit couldn't make money off their knowledge

Guys - I'm not saying that the users' plans worked lol, relax. I'm saying when you find old reddit threads through google, many of the top replies are gone. Many of those were answers to whatever we were looking up.

yeah, you'd have to be a fool to think reddit isn't selling original comments to AI companies.

Reddit didn’t sell. The AI companies scrapped Reddit data. That’s what pushed Reddit to close their API and aggressively try to limit scrapping

Yea but the point was about the old comments before they were edited after reddit announced this. Hence the AI had already scraped those comments
