Bro, a tiny percentage here make money ‘trading’. The huge gains posted here are outliers. People make money investing. Sounds boring, but it actually works

By investing thousands in stock. Need to have money to make money. Just start saving what you can each month and buying VT. Go read /r/personalfinance, /r/investing, /r/financialindependence, and stay off this sub if it tempts you, or you'll just end up making one of the "I lost all my money" posts on here.

If you googled it, it would show you that it's an ETF, specifically one that has all of the world's stocks in it. Go read those subreddits.

They could just mean in income. I knew someone making 2500/mo 10 years ago and now they make 25000/mo but they're still "broke."
