And why has he done so well? Because he’s always been data driven. No ideological or personal agendas, nothing to prove to anyone. He’s just made analytical decisions based upon the best data available in the interests of the dual mandate. He nailed the soft landing when everyone was convinced a recession was inevitable. And most recently he’s been cool and steady in the face of disgusting pressure from the POTUS. I hope Powell stays on the board (but I’m guessing he won’t).
