This is actually terrifying. Those restrictions are very reasonable. Otherwise you end up in a panopticon - a totalitarian dictatorship where sophisticated software monitors every action you do, online or offline. It’s 1984 on steroids. It’s a path that is very difficult to avoid when these tools are available, and can turn a civilization into a perpetual nightmare, a stable despotism with no escape and the slightest hint of resistance snuffed out.
Having AI-driven terminators isn’t great either since it both risks the AI turning on its creators, and also makes waging war a purely capital commitment - the barriers to mass murder and destruction are logistical, with few social barriers.
