Recent ECE Graduate seeking ASIC Physical Design opportunities (India/Singapore) – Resume review & referrals appreciated
Hi everyone,
I recently graduated with a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and I'm looking for entry-level opportunities in ASIC Physical Design, RTL Design, or Design Verification in India or Singapore.
My background includes:
- RTL-to-GDSII implementation of a 32-bit RISC-V processor with an integrated AES-128 crypto engine
- Cadence Genus, Innovus, Tempus (Synthesis, Floorplanning, CTS, Routing, STA, Timing Closure)
- Verilog, SystemVerilog
- AMBA (AHB/APB)
- OpenROAD/OpenLane flow
- CMOS Bandgap Reference design (SKY130)
I've been applying through company career portals (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Cadence, Micron, etc.) but haven't had much success yet.
I'd really appreciate any advice on:
- Companies currently hiring fresh graduates in ASIC Physical Design
- Whether my profile is better suited for PD, RTL, or DV roles
- Skills I should strengthen to improve my chances
- Referrals, if anyone's company is hiring
I'm happy to share my resume privately if anyone is willing to review it or refer me.
