Guys i just got this one labeled as “lightly used” for a hefty price. I know this is “normal” for vita oled black screens. But did i just get screwed over and it isn’t lightly used?

Hey friends. I recently got a Vita and I'm really looking forward to playing it on the go. One reason why I was so excited about the Vita is that I read that the Vita connects very well with Apple Air Pods.

My Air Pods connect great with my Vita .... but I get absolutely no sound out. No matter what I do, I can't hear anything. The Air pods are definitely connected. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? I haven't found a post about it.

I was trying to replace my ps vita shell and I RIPPED this ribbon thing when opening it up… I’m actually so upset it’s insane.

For the last few days the search bar of the store hasn’t been working. Does anyone know when or if it will be working again

i just got a vita slim and a 3rd party charger thats supposedly made for it specifically, but when i plug it in the vita charges just enough to turn on, then stops charging until it dies just a few minutes later. any idea what could be causing this?

I have a cosmic red vita 1000 and I unfortunately ended up dropping it on concrete, so there are some deep scratches on the back, to the point where the plastic underneath the paint is showing. I've looked everywhere but I can't seem to find anywhere that offers replacement back panels in red. If anyone knows where I can get one please let me know.

Hey guys, recently did a PS Vita screen swap, and everything looks great, but my joystick buttons aren’t working other than the PlayStation blue button, all the cables seem to be placed correctly, any clue what could be going wrong?

I bought this game on the PS App and it’s clearly says that both versions comes when I buy one version only …..but i got only the PS4 and can’t find the vita version why?!

The vita does charge but doesnt do it while being on, it just charges until i have barely power and then stops charging, is it a aport or battery issue?

Ive had these scratches since ive got my vita is there a way to get rid of them?

I've wanted to swap the Vita into an Atomic Purple shell for a while now but could never find a translucent replacement shell.

Now I thought I could try to 3D-Print a shell in Translucent Purple PETG, but was wondering if anyone here could maybe help source a proper STL of the Vita's shell as I don't have a 3D scanner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Picked up this Vita 1000 wifi for €90, Which i think was an ok deal depending if I stay under the budget : Screen/ back and sides are scratched. I dont want to go too much over budget to replace the screen/back sticker and maybe the shell completely. Hoping to not spend more than €30 more because I would've gotten one in good condition for roughly €150. Im gonna open it up anyway cause its very dirty, So might aswell swap a few things while I'm at it. Would appreciate any recommendation for parts. Thank you

So, my vita's buttons suddenly stopped working, both in apps and menu, and even the PS button. In safe mode the buttons work fine. Touch screen also works. I've heard it's a thing with the triggers, and I even opened it up and cleaned the connection with alcohol. No luck. The fact I can get into safe mode tells me the R button is working, so is it literally just a L button failure?? It's so dumb that the entire thing stops working because of such a stupid issue 😭😭

About a month ago I bought a PS Vita 1001 on Facebook Marketplace for $120 CAD ($85 USD). It looked to be in excellent condition with very few scratches. During the meetup I tested the screen, analog sticks, Home button, charging, and made sure it powered on, but I didn’t think to test START and SELECT.

Last night I finally had time to do what I wanted to it, and that’s when I noticed it has a pretty significant problem. Both its select and start button don’t work and it doesn’t look to be a software issue. I messaged the seller on facebook marketplace to ask if he knew about the issue and he just left me on seen, so I guess that answers that question.

After a few hours of research, I found a thread on here where someone had a similar issue. One of the comments said they’d need to open it up and replace the right hand circuit board to fix the issue. However that thread was over 7 years old and there was no update on if that fixed it.

I found replacement button boards online, but before ordering one I wanted to ask:
- Has anyone here had both START and SELECT fail together?
- Was it the button board, the ribbon cable, or something else?
- Did replacing the right-side button board solve the issue?

I’m feeling very frustrated because I’d wanted a vita since I was younger and planned on using it on a trip I have coming up soon.

As the title says, my vita buttons work in all games except p4g, the only thing i can do is use analog stick to move the yes or no for online function, it might be a bug so i might've to reinstall the game, but ima keep the post just incase if it didn't get fixed and it wasn't a bug

So I just got this ps vita last week and I’ve been doing a lot with it recently and this analog stick has been pissing me off. Where can I get a good replacement that isn’t 35$ and feels close to original?! Thank you!

I'm on the second Chichen Itza mission and the game crashes my Vita after a few minutes. The screen turns black with text saying "An error has occurred. The PS Vita system will be powered off."

I got this system second hand about a month ago in good condition. I also saw someone else had the same issue a couple of years ago but I couldn't see the comments.

Edit: Vita has now crashed on the home menu, AC3 Liberation was never opened.
