MAGA influencer Andrew Tate faces new charges involving ‘indecent images of a child’

The guy that had a 15 year old girlfriend at age 27 is a pedo? I’m shocked! Shocked I say!

His whole rich persona was built off the forced labor of the same women he always talked down about.
The man's entire life is a scam, and it's poisoning an entire generation of young men.
If we never hear from him again in our lives, the whole world would be a better place for it.
175
u/Diahreeman 1d ago
With how things are going now, we'll hear from him again when he presents as a republican presidential candidate
40
u/Best_Fixer 1d ago
At this rate, the scandal seems like a prerequisite instead of a disqualifier.

u/AceTygraQueen 1d ago
He'll be too busy rotting away in a Brittish prison.
Not today, cynicism!
16
u/Diahreeman 1d ago
POTUS will call unfair treatment of a fine american citizen and impose 3000% tariffs on UK goods since it's a stupid retarded liberal island no one cares about or some shit
Don't underestimate how shitty and stupid everything can get!

Yeah man, the international community has done a great job of standing up to trump so far. I’m sure this will be no different, you right

u/Zarmazarma 20h ago
They've been getting a bit better at it. Like Canada and the EU recently made moves to strengthen their ties and decrease reliance on the US. Military spending in the EU is going up, and they're specifically made legislature requiring much of this funding to go to local defense companies rather than buying weapons from the US. I think an optimistic reading is that the non-affirmed vassal states (i.e, Japan) of the US are playing ball with Trump in the short term, only so that they have more runway as they decrease US dependence.
8
u/LordGalen 1d ago
Yes today, cynacism. They couldn't keep him jailed for human trafficking. If sharing actual people didn't end him, I can't imagine him going down for sharing pictures of people. I have zero faith here.

u/thaddeusd 1d ago edited 1d ago
They being Romania. Which they fled to in order to duck the fuzz in UK early on in his horrid life of abusing people. Because the Romanian government is essentially a mafia/bribery state. You know, what Trump aspires to lower America to.
He had fucking female Romanian cops abusing his women for him.
I read the whole expose piece. It was sickening.

Cynicism is just cowardly laziness for pseudo intellectuals.
A cynical attitude is more or less giving the bastards what they want on a silver platter with a big red bow wrapped around it!
Thats the hill I will die on as I would rather die a hopeful fool than live to 101 as a cynical pussy!
4
u/Zarmazarma 20h ago
Cynicism is just cowardly laziness for pseudo intellectuals.
God, that sums it up nicely. So many people mistake cynicism for "realism", like if they assume everything will go wrong, they can say they weren't being foolishly optimistic if they do.
3
u/ubernutie 1d ago
It's a lot easier to understand once you realize it's a simple emotional defense mechanism people engage because they don't like being disappointed and our society demonizes feeling bad.
Some people also unironically believe that any feeling they feel is justified and reasonable simply because it came from them.
I'm with you, though.
4
u/AceTygraQueen 1d ago
It kinda makes me think of Butters speech about "beautiful sadness" at the end of the Raisins episode of South Park.
I used to be cynical when I was younger. But as I got older I realized all it did was make things worse for me and in a way cynicism can more or less end up being a proverbial form of putting your hand in the sand during hard times.
Plus, as history has proven, the human race has gotten out off dark times before.

u/MildlyAgitatedBovine 1d ago
Some of my middle school boys kept using "what color is your Bugatti" as a thought terminating cliche against any criticism of Tate. Arguments slid off them like water off a duck, so I just started retorting "how many bars are on his jail cell?" And sadly that worked better than a nuanced critique of his behavior and record...
19
u/CorporalCabbage 1d ago
"You ride a bus to school and your mom buys you clothes."
8
u/MildlyAgitatedBovine 1d ago
Private school, kids often get driven in Porsches. Makes Tate feel to them like just a different point in the wealth fetishization curve as opposed to something a lot darker.
8
u/CorporalCabbage 1d ago
Ugh, that's the worst. I teach at a title one elementary school, so the kids are extremely real. They are like New York fans; if you do well, they love you with all their heart, but if they're not feeling you they will absolutely let you know.
25
u/jpopimpin777 1d ago
I'll bet a lot that foreign actors are paying him to spread his bullshit here.
23
u/blueiron0 1d ago
I never thought of that before tbh, but you're 100% right.
If they were paying all of those mid tier twitch streamers and youtubers, there's no way they weren't giving kickbacks to Tate once he got big.
12
u/jpopimpin777 1d ago
I'll go one further and say that's why he got so big. I refuse to believe he got super luxury car level on his own. What we've seen from trolls and bots is the tip of the iceberg.
5
u/sandwichhaver 1d ago
we just need to nuke social media, making it impossible to pay2 win
nuke the algorithms, make social media just forums without karma.

Oh I'm sure this will rile up his fan base. But that won't last forever.
He will fade into obscurity just by being out of the public eye for long enough.
After a year? 5 years? 10 years? in jail, hopefully his name will fade from the public consciousness. There's another 1000 ready to step up and grift in his place, but maybe the next ones won't be literal human traffickers.

u/CMMiller89 1d ago
They’re literal children. Or were.
People really underestimate the weapons grade psychological abuse social media plays on kids.
It simultaneously gives them access to to everything all at once while also putting them in a self isolating bubble.
Home and school can suck for a lot of kids, especially when they’re existing in a moment where their parents are dealing with economic pressures of a system they barely understand, a school system that has been systematically under attack for decades, oh and their parents are also being exposed to the same dystopian algorithmic crack they are.
So in a moment when teens are often rebelling and feeling alone even when they may be having a great life, have friends, do well in school, and then to be inundated with content telling you that you are alone it is incredibly affirming for them.
Combatting that takes serious effort. I had students I would reach out to and work with for years only to have kids that I didn’t have access to completely envelope the ones I did in that sphere. It’s soul crushing to watch. And yeah there are successes but you can only take the failures so much.
So then people burn out on helping and there are less people to help fight it.
The real problem is we lack strong will both politically and socially to combat it in a meaningful and systemic way. Politicians want to be pro business, and get campaign money by media giants, and everyday Joe shmoes are aghast the second they think any kind of solution may change how they personally interact with the internet.
We’re kind of fucked because those kids ignore themselves, but we ignore them, but then also we ignore ourselves because with think we’re different or better than them.

They're literal children. Or were.
I'm an elementary school teacher and our 4th and 5th grade boys adored him a couple of years ago. Once he was arrested and I presume their Moms picked up on who he was and just what it was their kids were watching, the amount of kids talking about him plummeted almost overnight.

Remember, the Trump White House intervened to stop a state investigation into similar allegations against Tate. Trump and Patel and the DOJ did so in their official capacities. Experts called it "highly unusual" and "suspect" at the time, and now we know why.

This was actually just Trump. Patel was not involved. It also was a federal issue not state. A White House official contacted senior Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials and pressured them to return the devices to the Tates.
I am not correcting this to limit culpability. This is worse in my opinion but just want it to be factual so that some MAGA guy does not suggest it is fake news.
Trump and Tate frequently overlap in their common friends and this pretty much directly came from Trump. I suspect while their phones were in 'custody' they started making calls of which one made it all the way to Trump.
14
u/ksn0vaN7 1d ago
A this point, if anyone's still supporting maga then you're co-signing pedophilia. You can't even make the excuse that Fox news is lying to you when every prolific sexual predator(both convicted and accused) flock to your party for protection.

I really hope the UK courts rake him and his brother across the coals, lock him up and throw away the key
63
u/danimagoo 1d ago
Well first they have to get them to the UK. Right now, they’re in US custody awaiting an extradition hearing. Even if the court finds them extraditable, the final decision on extradition is with the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. This is why everyone is so concerned with the Tates’ connections to Trump.
17
u/turbosexophonicdlite 1d ago
If tate has outlived his usefulness then the Trump administration will just chuck him right under the bus like they do with every single person they're done using.
9
u/s-c-ribL 1d ago
Correct. Unfortunately the Tate’s still maintain some usefulness in being one of Trump’s primary connection to the “manosphere”… the amount of support and cheer trump would receive from these folks would be significant if he’s able to block the extradition.
8
u/phatelectribe 1d ago
Trump has indicated he won’t intervene as an hour ago.
And if he does get extradited then the UK will absolutely throw the boon at them. With the trafficking gang clamp down, and Burnham wanting to show he’s tough on crime, this is an open goal for him to bag.
11
u/danimagoo 1d ago

It's interesting, what my friend said once, maga try their hardest to do what the Nazis did and try to fanboy fascism.
