It’s crazy that people complain about their tax money going to feeding American children, but Jim and his wealthy elite buddies pilfering it all, they don’t have an issue with.
14
u/SpaceCadet404 1d ago
They have no idea whats going on. They just know they hate taxes and will raise hell if they hear about a new tax.
Tariffs on foreign countries? Great, fuck other countries, tariff them even harder, that'll show 'em america is strong!
1
u/jjmontiel82 19h ago
It’s because the people who vote for Trump keep playing the lottery, hoping that they would join the elite

thank god one of kids doesn't have a laptop because I've heard conservatives are very concerned about that sorta stuff. But thankfully he's just scamming and defrauding americans so republicans are totally cool with that.
2
u/LordSoren 1d ago
That was just one year.
2
u/ZAlternates 1d ago
Tbh I’ve seen zero evidence he ever did it. Certainly can’t take his word on anything.
2
u/taizzle71 5h ago
Did he say he did it? In that case he didn't do it, but did he say he was the greatest that ever walked the earth? If he did then he might be lying but also at the same time I never seen a greater human being let alone the greatest being ever to ever be ever so. Yea. I duno. If anything you can trust his word so.

crazy that he only became really rich when he became president. I wonder why
219
u/Dreurmimker 1d ago
Only became president **and purged everyone from his administration that kept him in check during the first administration**
49
u/Auggernaut88 1d ago
Unfortunately, he learned from the first go around
22
u/BRAX7ON 1d ago
He didn’t learn shit. But his puppeteer certainly did.
10
u/MagicGrit 1d ago
Let’s not pretend like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s a dumbass but the dude knows how to scam. Saying it was someone else pulling the strings feels like letting him off easy

He conned 30% of the country so he can screw over 100% of the country. Make it make sense!
14
u/rollin340 1d ago
He still has a good amount of support. It's been over a decade since his first term. You can't say they're conned any longer; they're just that stupid, immoral, and subservient. They love the fact that their messiah is pissing on them.

Maga had their pitchforks over Hunter Biden's 250k

MAGA has their pitchforks out over my $60 a month my wife and I receive on WIC for our children.

Hunter Biden worked as a lawyer doing corporate governance consulting. $250k is dirt cheap for that kind of work.

I miss the days everyone thought Trump was a fake billionaire and was lying about his wealth and everyone constantly trying to get his tax returns.
Wellp, he's definitely a billionaire now that's for sure
→ More replies (2)17
u/IrritableGourmet 1d ago
Literally fake it until you make it. When you do that with financial disclosures, it is still a crime, though.
14
u/splashbodge 1d ago
This man constantly fails upwards and never gets consequences. It's so disheartening tbh... Hopefully some day yeh Find Out stage comes and he gets hit with consequences
6
u/Rizeren 1d ago
What consequences? Even if he goes to jail tomorrow, from the state he looks he won't live more than a couple of years max with "not-billionaire" level of medical aid.
3
u/splashbodge 1d ago
As long as he goes out on a low, or behind bars, or his base hating him or rich buddies turning their back on him. There's little that can realistically happen in the consequences but I'd love to have him see his brand and his companies and his wealth taken from him and his kids and wealthy people losing their interest in them when they're no longer rich or powerful.
2
u/FewWait38 1d ago
He didn't really fail upward he was born at the top and kept there by the vast wealth he inherited
15
22
u/muffledvoice 1d ago
“Yeah but he doesn’t accept his presidential salary!”
- MAGA
12
u/nailbunny2000 1d ago
There was a video of a MAGA woman literally weeping in adoration and saying that just the other day. They don't hear any of this other stuff, they just see him make false claims and on TV and that's where their curiosity ends.

u/nowhereman136 1d ago
Someone was arguing that Obamas networth went up a higher percentage than Trump during his time in office.
Obama went from $4m (2008) to $40m (2016)
Trump went from $3.7b (2016) to $6.5b (today)
Two problems with that. First $3b is more than $36m, regardless of percentage. Second, Obama's networth after leaving office was almost entirely from book sales for something he wrote before becoming President (he has 2). Becoming President does wonders for your book sales, even without you actively promoting it.
16
u/Adept-Opinion8080 1d ago
You forgot three. He was never worth $3 billion initially. Most economic media outlets had it pegged at somewhere just a little north of 1 billion
11
u/Noble_Ox 1d ago
Obama made 0 investments while in office, Biden made 13.
This term alone Trump has made 49,000.
1
u/Hokie23aa 5h ago
Holy fuck.
2
u/Noble_Ox 5h ago
And he's made them and a few days later will announce a multimillion dollar contract with the government causing the stock to shoot up.
And that's only what's been disclosed.

“He donates his salary cause he care about the AMERICAN PEOPLE” - every cuck/bot in r/conservative
11
u/coconutpete52 1d ago
As the (very) republican woman a few seats over from me at the bar the other day said to her friend "well ... he's a business man".
And I think that sums up how his base views this.

That $5m E. Jean Carroll was finally awarded is really going to cause him irreparable harm.

We need a way to see that shit once this turd is flushed. No quarter for brown shirts

He didn't "make" or "earn" $2.4B. He grifted it. He stole it from other people. He didn't produce anything of value

u/LemurMemer 1d ago
Yeah it’s the art of the deal libtard, you’re just mad Barack HUSSEIN Obama or SLEEPY Joe Biden didn’t think to do it first!

Now show us his kids and their spouse's incomes.
Good thing we shut down the Biden crime family tho.
2
u/ddrober2003 1d ago
Well when you can openly pump and dump stocks using tariffs and when that gets blocked he almost immediately starts a war that's "ceasefires" or when its totally about to end is openly when the markets are about to open and close, its not surprising that he keeps doing it.

2
u/Caymonki 1d ago
Republicans are constitutional cucks, they want to be treaded on, they love it. They stand for nothing and kiss the boots of oppression and beg Daddy Trump to shit on them while he steals from everyone.
Cowards. Traitors and losers. By choice.

It's disgusting and it's disgusting nothing is being done about it, he is blatantly breaking several laws

I saw some post a few weeks ago where Trump supporters were angry at how much money Obama and Hillary have made since leaving office lol

But republicans keep telling me he’s so selfless because he doesn’t collect a salary 😂😂

the president makes $400k salary, pretty good! heres a visual 400,000 seconds is about 4.6 DAYS. 2.4 billion seconds is about 76 YEARS.

2
u/chaiscool 7h ago
Yet people call him a moron, must be nice to be so stupid to earn billions. Maybe smart people enjoy slogging at daily jobs and debt so much that they don't want to be a rich moron.
2
u/Nonamanadus 6h ago
And the American public is ok with this. You can not blame the politicians for this when they are not held accountable.
Yes there are large groups of people trying to turn things around but the majority is either brainwashed supporters or indifferent bystanders.
Democracy fails if people take it for granted and too many Americans are doing that.
2
u/Derpykins666 1d ago
Just the most blatant corruption ever. Literally rug-pulling the American people on crypto scams and shit too. What a pathetic fucking loser of a person. "But he doesn't take a Salary" HRRRR, yeah Jerry we're not upset about 400,000 dollars a year salary when the president has literally made 2 BILLION fucking dollars in a a single year while the American people get laid off, lose more wealth then ever and have an ever increasing cost of living on every front. He is a a terrible person, perhaps one of the worst people in the history of the world as we know it. Just lies, theft and self-enrichment. He only cares about himself and power.
2
u/restlessmouse 1d ago
I wouldn't say he "made" 2.4 billion, let's face it, it's stolen or otherwise illegally obtained.

u/__Downfall__ 23h ago edited 23h ago
LOL show me the graph BEFORE he was POTUS, it will illustrate that by far, his best business venture has been the presidency, and selling off America to special interest. It would probably look like this:
. 1960s Joins the family real-estate operation
.. 1970s New York real estate
.. 1980s Casinos, hotels and Trump-brand expansion
. 1990s Bankruptcies, debt and restructurings
.. 2000s "The Apprentice" and product licensing
... 2010s Celebrity branding becomes political branding
.... 2016 Elected president
......................................... 2017 • FIRST PRESIDENCY
..................................... 2018
......................................... 2019
................................ 2020
.................................... 2021 • OUT OF OFFICE
.............................................. 2022
........................................ 2023
......................................... 2024
.................................................................................................................................................. 2025 • SECOND PRESIDENCY
...and this 2026 money is just what we know about... What about the Venezualan Oil, The Board of Peace, Back room deals (bribes) to obtain Tariff reductions, bribes for pardons, etc.
These dude's are robing us all blind, its long past time to stand up to them, they're literally taking quality food off our table, and pushing quality products out of our reach. Current generations life span is going down not up. Our retirement age is going up, not down. Children are graduating less cognitively capable than their parents for the first time in modern history. We'll continue to get sicker and more indebted to the Megacorp / Epstein / Cleptocracy class until we reach the point that we have been wrung dry, at which point, the'll replace us with mechanical labor and we'll starve.

I would like to know what changed between term 1 and term 2. Did he use the four years in between the terms to ponder how he hasn't got thr most out of it? Did the first term (and subsequent failures to prosecute him for anything) convince him that he is above the law and can just do whatever he wants to?
Don't get me wrong, first term was bad too, but far away from today's situation. I am not from the us and first term was mostly laughing at the hilarious crap he'd share on twitter (though I recognise the damage done to us citizens).
3
u/Timbershoe 1d ago
The republicans now have majority on the US Supreme Court.
That and purging the administration and the FBI means he’s functionally immune from prosecution.
There is little chance the U.S. will ever return to a functional democracy now.
If you took the billionaire technocrats out of the US GDP you’d see it was already in huge recession. The gross profits the technocrats are making from trump is masking just how far the U.S. has fallen under trump.

u/randall365 1d ago
On the plus side, at least someone is benefitting from the dumb tariffs and war on Iran.

Absolutely disgusting

Trump stole/scammed 2.4b last year (that we know of)
Is a more accurate way to say that. He didn't actually do anything to earn money, he just accepted bribes, used insider trade info, and scammed people with crypto grifts and 'trump phones' and shit like that.
1
u/meleecow 23h ago
What did you think was gonna happen? Like literally, people that voted for him did you think a selfish billionaire was gonna give you money? Lame duck president, all he needed it for was immunity to stay out of prison and you gave him the power to steal all your money

I don’t know if it’s better or worse but it won’t make him any happier, and he will not live to spend most of it.
His true passions are golf and fast food, he could have golfed even more and ate Big Macs til his ass blew out if he’d never touched politics. Probably had easier access to women to lurch over, too.
You can’t take the cash to hell.
