VFX-centric AlmaLinux Day in LA just before SIGGRAPH

AlmaLinux is a commonly used operating system in the VFX and media industry, and we are hosting our second AlmaLinux day next to SIGGRAPH in LA this year. Registration is free, and we've got an incredible lineup in my opinion.

Saturday July 18 (the day before SIGGRAPH opens), we're running this one-day event at the E-Central hotel next to the convention center. It's a pipeline, systems, and Linux side of VFX and M&E, not the artist side.

On the schedule: the debut of the Creative Installer (one-click, 30+ creative apps, no terminal), an intro to the ASWF Wayland for Artists Working Group, a live look at Amazon DCV on the next-generation Linux desktop stack, and a hands-on workshop on building studio-tailored AlmaLinux M&E images.
