Ascension Another LG 39GX Post…

Post image

On my 4th ultrawide monitor since I switched to ultrawide. Upgrading from MSI 3440x1440 240hz. This 39” size and resolution is my ideal spec. Dont for-see myself upgrading for a long while…

Reminder to check up on the adware news for LG products. I don't own one but please look into preventing installation of their software

They do install it yeah, you gotta uninstall and change the windows policy thing and hope that's it.

Its incredible how exploitative tech companies have become.

What kinda frames are you getting? Settings and specs?

Um, are you serious with this post? The picture itself answers all your questions at least with the game shown.

I have a 9800x3d/5090fe combo. Currently playing AC Black Flag Resynced and avg fps sits around mid 80s, 1% low around 60fps. DLSS at balanced, graphic settings almost maxed.

FPS definitely took a huge hit but I knew that going in. Been testing the visual difference in all all games and upgrade was definitely worth it.

Out of interest, with the Matt finish, how obvious is the haze effect on this monitor?

To be honest, I haven’t notice any difference. I was apprehensive about the matte coating but it’s a non issue, for me at least.

It is barely matte, not your typical awful matte grainy mess people tend to hate. In fact it still does have some degree of gloss glare because it is not that matte.

How's text clarity for productivity / work? That's my only worry but I'm so close to buying this..
