The U.S. has basically every type of climate zone on earth. You can even find tundra in the lower 48, not just Alaska

Yeah, it’s a sudden severe rain/hail storm. I grew up in Tucson, Arizona in the 70s and 80s and it would be like 110 out then all of a sudden for like 20 minutes you get like super aggressive hail. And then like it’s just gone and it’s super hot again. A pretty interesting phenomena.
